Bigg Boss Marathi is back with a new season. Yes, you read it right. Bigg Boss Marathi 6 premiered on January 11, 2026, at 8 pm. Bollywood actor, Riteish Deshmukh has joined in as the host of the fan favourite show. According to multiple reports, 15 contestants are currently locked inside the BB Marathi 6 house.
Earlier, renowned actor, Mahesh Manjrekar hosted the show. While the show introduced the 15 contestants, it was Aayush Sanjeev among them who stole the limelight. Now that the BB Marathi 6 is making headlines, let us introduce you to the contestant, Aayush Sanjeev.

According to Aayush Sanjeev’s IMDb profile, he was raised in Badlapur and has predominantly worked in the Marathi entertainment industry. He began his career as a choreographer. He also established his foothold in the acting field. He is widely known for his roles in TV series, including 36 Guni Jodi and Boss Majhi Ladachi. Currently, Aayush is grabbing a lot of attention with his stint on the fan favourite show, Bigg Boss Marathi 6.

In a 2023 interview with The Times of India, Aayush Sanjeev was asked about his experience working in the TV industry. In response, the BB Marathi 6 contestant shared that he always wanted to be an actor. However, he had to struggle with the Marathi language as he was in the US. He mentioned that working in Marathi was a challenge, but he liked to accept the challenges. He added that he learned a lot from his first Marathi show, Boss Majhi Ladachi. He was quoted as saying:
"I always wanted to be an actor. But I did not speak fluent Marathi because I was in the US. Working in Marathi was a challenge, but I like to accept challenges. I got a learning experience from my first Marathi show, and now for 36 Guni Jodi, I am executing everything here, and I am thoroughly enjoying the serial and playing my character Vedant."

Besides working in the Marathi entertainment industry, Aayush also worked in the Hindi TV serial, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. It was his Hindi debut project. Earlier, in an interview, Aayush Sanjeev expressed his wish to work on multi-language projects if the content is interesting. He called himself a multilingual. Speaking to Downtown Mirror, Aayush said:

"I will always go for content and the story, be it in any language, because I am multilingual. I might go to the South and audition there in Telugu and Tamil. If the story is good in Marathi, I might work in Marathi again, and if something is interesting in Hindi, I would like to work in Hindi."
Aayush revealed on Bigg Boss Marathi 6 that he once worked as a background dancer on the same show. From working behind the scenes to entering the house as a contestant, Aayush’s revelation stood out. Aayush shared that he has been a longtime fan of Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, who also hosts the show, Bigg Boss Hindi. He also expressed his wish to host the show, Bigg Boss Marathi, one day. Aayush recalled the contribution of the Deshmukh family and highlighted that Riteish Deshmukh’s late father, Vilasrao Deshmukh, had helped his family in many ways during their difficult times. Recalling his struggling journey, Aayush said to Riteish:
"I am from Badlapur. I would travel freely by train due to the financial crisis. I would sometimes get an express train as well and would travel for free."
