Amaal Mallik Slammed By Netizens For Calling Father Failure, 'Daboo Malik Ne Sanp Ko Paida Kia Hai'

When Amaal Mallik entered the Bigg Boss 19 house, it was his father, Daboo Mallik, who cheered for him and became his support. Recently, Amaal left everyone shocked by calling his father a failure on national television. The remark was heavily criticised, and fans could not believe that a person could say such things about their own family.

Amaal Mallik called his own father a 'failure'

Recently, Bigg Boss 19 house turned into a debate battle when singer-composer, Amaal Mallik locked horns with actor, Gaurav Khanna over nepotism and a person's struggle in the industry. In an attempt to defend himself, Amaal didn't even spare his own father and went on to call him a 'failure'.

It all started when Gaurav stated that everyone works hard in the industry, but those who have a connection get their first opportunity easily than an outsider. He said, "Jahan tumhara struggle shuru hota hai, wahaan hamara aspiration hai." To this, Amaal tried to prove his point, stating that he, his brother, and his mother would stand outside the Mehboob studio like the rest of the others, and that there was no difference. 

However, Gaurav was wise enough to quickly point out that Amaal's family legacy made it easier for him to be in touch with Salman Khan, whereas someone like him might take twenty years to get the same opportunity. On the other hand, Amaal revealed that all artists have the same struggle. However, Gaurav clarified that he was referring to the initial 'foot in the door' moment that makes it easier for a person who belongs to the industry. 

Amaal tried to defend his and his brother, Armaan's, big break. Gaurav and other contestants stated that they weren't dismissing his family's hardships and tough times, but they are only talking about the privileges of the first break, which is easy for an insider. In order to prove his point, Amaal went on to say that his father had failed in his life, and he never got his brother, Anu Mallik's support. He said:

"Mere papa ko kabhi Anu Mallik ka support mila he nahi, hum reverse nepotism ke product hain sir. Daboo Mallik was a failure and I have no problem in admitting it. My father failed."

Soon, netizens rushed to express their point of view. One user wrote, "Shame on #AmaalMallik for saying ‘My dad is a failure, hasn’t done anything’ on national TV just to prove his success is heartbreaking. That must have embarrassed his father deeply. Respect and love should come first, not insults."

Another one called Amaal, a snake, and wrote, "Dabboo Mallik ne kaise saanp ko paida kiya hai.." A third user commented, "Apne ko uncha batane ke chakkar me apne baap ko hi nicha gira diya shame on u Amaal." A fourth one added, "Kitna girayega yeh apna baap ko...he is doing this since from week 1.. bhai har insan ka baap struggle karke he apni aulad ko palta hai instead of being thankful he is everytime disrespecting his father.. Now I understood why Armaan is successful than this Shi**y Amaal."
