'Bigg Boss 19', Amaal Mallik's Father, Daboo, Breaks Silence On Son's Secret Girlfriend Outside BB19

Singer-songwriter, Amaal Mallik is one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 19. He is known for his strong friendships, occasional rifts, and aggressive demeanour (which he has toned down lately), and his soothing singing. Amaal has thrilled the fans by setting up a personal BB radio segment in the show, where he often pours his heart out and dedicates songs to his secret lover outside the house. He frequently mentioned her on the show and sent heartfelt messages to the camera, telling her he missed her and that he hoped she would wait for him to leave the BB house. Recently, his father, Daboo Malik, opened up about the unnamed woman his son keeps thinking about.

Daboo Malik reacted to his son's secret lover

Amaal Mallik's repeated mention of his one-sided lover sparked curiosity about the woman's identity. During every Weekend ka Vaar, host, Salman Khan also teases him, saying he brought his beloved to the BB19 stage, but to Amaal's disappointment, it turns out to be some celebrity guest. Now, Amaal Mallik's father, Daboo Malik, was asked during his recent interview with SCREEN who the mystery lover of his son was. In response, Daboo Malik publicly expressed his doubts about the existence of the secret girlfriend. Calling it an 'invisible love story', he jovially said he could use it as a fictional plot.

Daboo called son, Amaal, 'a lover in a third dimension' who has an imaginary lover, and they were happily dating there. On one hand, where Amaal Mallik dreamt of a sweet love story with a mystery woman, his father dreamt of a love angle for his son on Bigg Boss 19. Daboo wanted to see Amaal form a love connection with a fellow contestant of the show; however, that seems unlikely now. Daboo Malik said:

"It is an invisible love story, I am going to write a script on that. There was a man who created a lover in a third dimension, and he is loving her there. That's all I know. We have not met the person. However, it was my dream to see him develop a love story on the show."

Daboo Malik's comment about wanting a love angle for his son in BB19 also sparked curiosity regarding which contestant he might have been referring to. The women Amaal has been linked to the most in BB19 are Tanya Mittal and Malti Chahar. Some viewers also felt that Nehal Chudasama was a little interested in him; however, the contestants concerned denied the speculations. Notably, Amaal's father expressed his liking for Tanya and his desire to meet her once the show ends.

Amaal Mallik's father commented on his son's viral eviction hoax

For the unversed, Amaal Mallik was rumored to exit BB19 right after Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama's double elimination. The reason was allegedly his ill health. In the interview with SCREEN, Daboo Mallik said that he thought Amaal would be out of the show soon due to his physical condition, but that wasn't the case. Daboo also expressed bewilderment as, despite people criticising Amaal and sharing negative comments about him, he was still in the show. Daboo addressed the popular fan theory that Salman Khan and the showmakers were favouring Amaal, saying he didn't know what to say about it. Daboo's exact words were:

"Amaal is facing health issues, which is why we thought he would be out in 2-3 weeks; he wouldn't continue. But he is still in the game. When he is getting so much hate and dislike, I don't understand who is stopping him. They say Salman Khan and the channel are siding with him, but I don't have an answer to that. People are criticising him. I accept the hatred, but then why are you stopping him? Do something so that he is not kept on the show any longer."
