Karan Veer Mehra has been a strong contestant in Bigg Boss 18. The actor grabbed a whole lot of attention with her personal life controversies as well. Apart from that, his bond with co-contestant Chum was also something that left fans melted. Well, he became the winner of this season. The 46-year old actor received the winning trophy from the host Salman Khan and made his fans proud. For the unversed, before Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer also won Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, and thus, it has become extra special for the actor.
Vivian Dsena and Karan Veer Mehra have been acquainted for a long time, even before they arrived at Bigg Boss 18. Well, during the media round, Vivian was questioned about why he didn't rely more on his old friend Karan, and instead of that, he became closer to Avinash Mishra. Moreover, the way both Vivian and Karan Veer made it to the top two finalists is really praiseworthy. Not only did they just win the hearts of the Bigg Boss fans, but they also received hefty paychecks. If the reports are to be believed, Karan Veer Mehra charged Rs. 2 lakh per week for his stint on the show, while Vivian Dsena got Rs. 5 lakh per week.

As per reports, on Wikipedia, Rajat Dalal was declared as the winner, while the name of the first runner-up was not shown. Well, it was only misinformation, as a few minutes later, Rajat Dalal got evicted from the show. On the other hand, a photo of Salman Khan also went viral, wherein he was seen on the stage with two of the contestants, and it left people wondering if the finale and the show were scripted.
