Big Sean Clears The Air: ' I Don't Even Know Her' Rapper Reacts To New Girlfriend Rumours

Big Sean is setting the record straight amid swirling rumours about his relationship status. The rapper, whose full name is Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, found himself at the centre of speculation that he might be dating someone new. These rumours emerged just as reports circulated that he had split from longtime partner Jhené Aiko after more than a decade together. 

How did the speculations start?

The chatter began when a short clip from a recent livestream hosted by a 21-year-old YouTuber known as N3on showed Big Sean walking into a room and passing by an unidentified woman. An Instagram post, reposted on November 6, 2025, carried the headline:

“Big Sean spotted with alleged new girlfriend after wasting Jhené Aiko’s time for 10 years.” 

How did Big Sean react to the rumours?

As soon as the post went viral, Big Sean responded, commenting under it. He also claimed that he had never met this person in his entire life and called it baseless. He said, “Yeah, unfortunately I never met this person in my life lol.” He followed up in a second comment with more detail: 

“This girl was standing next to @hitboy who is cut out the video. I dont know why the f---k she was so close to me though. I didn’t see it at all til i saw this video … But i dont even know this person at all.”  

With those comments, Big Sean emphatically denied ever meeting the woman in question or being romantically involved with her. His clarification comes amid speculation about the breakup of his and Jhené Aiko’s relationship. Up until his comment, neither he nor Aiko had publicly addressed reports that their romance, which began as a close friendship in 2012 and went public in 2016, may have ended.

That same year, the pair formed their musical duo TWENTY88 and released a joint album that fueled speculation about their offstage connection, which they soon confirmed publicly. Despite facing a few rumored breakups between 2018 and 2019, they consistently found their way back to each other, earning a reputation as one of music’s most grounded couples. In 2022, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Noah Hasani Anderson.

However, even with their deep connection, both approached marriage thoughtfully. By 2024, he reiterated that the two were focused on personal growth and maintaining balance amid their busy careers.
