Bhumika Chawla is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood. She has worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi language films. The actress made her acting debut with the Telugu film, Yuvakudu. However, she gained popularity with Bollywood film, Tere Naam, opposite Salman Khan. Later, she went on to work in films like M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story, Bhram, Khamoshi, Operation Romeo, and many more. Off lately, Bhumika has been garnering attention for the Salman Khan starrer film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Bhumi Chawla opened up about her Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan co-star, Salman Khan. Talking about him, the actress revealed her experience of working with the actor. Bhumika mentioned that her experience has been positive so far, however, she is not influenced by him. Calling Salman a good human being, Bhumika stated that he does not possess the qualities that she wanted to inherit in her personality. In her words:

"Achhe insaan hain. Bahut achhe insaan hain. He’s very sweet. I have done three films with him but aise influential state mein main kabhi ayi nehi hoon (He is a good person. A very good person. He’s very sweet. I have done three films with him, but I have never been in such an influential state."

Further, in the same conversation, Bhumika shared that even though she has worked in three films with Salman, she never became friends with him. Recalling an old incident, the actress revealed that once, he invited her to a party in Hyderabad, but she left early as she was lost in her own world.
Earlier, in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Bhumi had opened up about her career. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she has always been selective and picky about films. Further, she also revealed that she had signed for a big film after Tere Naam, however, the constant changes in the production house and actors didn't make it happen. Bhumika also revealed that she was the first choice for the film, Jab We Met, however, she got replaced and that incident actually affected her. Elaborating more about it. she said:
"I got many offers. I've always been selective and choosy about what I do. I had signed a big film after it, and unfortunately, the production changed. I waited for that film for one year and didn’t sign any other film. Later, I signed another film which didn’t happen too. The only time I felt bad was when I signed Jab We Met and it didn't happen. I was the first one, Bobby (Deol) and me, when it was called Train. Then, it was Shahid (Kapoor) and me, and then Shahid and Ayesha (Takia), and then Shahid and Kareena (Kapoor). That’s how things happened but it’s okay."

In an interview with the Times Of India, Bhumika had talked about the difficulties she had faced in her career due to her personal life. Elaborating more about it, she mentioned that after her marriage, people started assuming she wasn't interested in working in films anymore. In her words:
"I am walking a tightrope. On one hand, I have to be seen for producers and directors to understand that I'm still working so they can approach me. Unless you're seen on-screen, people assume that you're married, you have a child, so you're not interested. So, social media and PR comes handy at that time."
