Bhavana Panday is the proud wife of Chunky Panday and mother of two beautiful daughters, Rysa and Ananya Panday. While Rysa is studying BFA in Film/Video and Photographic Arts at NYU, Ananya, on the other hand, has already made her name in B-Town. Still, as we all know, the limelight doesn't come alone. While it brings the love of loyal fans, it also brings trolling from social media bullies. The Call Me Bae star, Ananya Panday is no stranger to the latter, and has openly discussed how she handles online trolls on various occasions. However, Ananya being scrutinized seems to have hit her mother even harder.

"I was in therapy for about a year. Maybe a little longer than that. And I still take therapy off and on. When sometimes I find things I’m not able to handle on my own."
In the same conversation, Bhavana further discussed how Ananya Panday being trolled on social media affected her as her mother. She shared that the trolling hit her harder than it did her daughter, Ananya. Bhavana further shared that she has become stronger but still goes for a session every so often. She shared:
"Her trolling affected me more than it affected her. I was an overly sensitive person. I have become stronger. But at these times, I do take therapy. I speak a lot to Chunky, he is my best friend. But it’s always biased sometimes."
Bhavana Pandey revealed how her own parents couldn't understand what bothered her. She added that people would often tell her that she had nothing to worry about since she had everything. However, she feels that seeking professional help was the best decision she could have made. Bhavana shared:
"Even my own parents said that to me. They were like, 'What are you anxious about? You have everything.' But I still took therapy, and I think that was the best decision I made."
Ananya Panday also spoke at the event and shared how online criticism took a toll on her confidence. She recalled that during her first year in the film industry, there were many false rumours about her circulating on the internet. She added that someone had even said that the CTRL actress was lying about her educational qualification, and while she had thought no one would believe that, the reality couldn't have been any more different.
