In an interview with ETimes, Bharti Singh opened up about her motherhood journey and shared how a woman masters the art of multitasking. She mentioned that mothers are rightly compared with Goddess Durga as they have the strength to multitask and focus on the baby at the same time. Talking about the same, she said:

“Sometimes, everything is happening at the same time while you are looking after your baby – the doorbell is ringing, the phone is ringing, we are planning what to cook for lunch and dinner and the baby also needs attention. I feel that’s why a mother is compared with Goddess Durga, who gets the strength and power to do everything efficiently.”

Bharti Singh also shared that a woman should follow her heart and the doctor’s advice, rather than listening to people during her pregnancy. She revealed that she was told to do certain things during her pregnancy, and later, they trolled her when she resumed work after giving birth to her son, Golla. Talking about the immense happiness she receives when she holds her baby in her arms, Bharti said:

“I started working 12 days after I delivered Gola and it was because of my commitment to the channel, but people trolled me. Even during pregnancy, people kept telling me to sleep in a certain way, wear threads, do yoga, relax and not work a lot, only wear chappals and what not! I worked till the last day of my pregnancy. Harsh used to read a lot on how to handle the baby, but I don’t believe in following any set theories. All those who feel that one has to forget about having a peaceful sleep or enjoyment during the initial years are wrong, because I feel that along with a lot of work, there is immense happiness that you feel when you have your baby in your hands."

Further in the interview, Bharti Singh shared that she does not feel guilty about leaving her baby at home while he is busy working and fulfilling her professional commitments. She added that her baby is in safe hands as she has a lot of people to support her. Adding how she wouldn't be able to give those facilities to her baby boy if she had not worked hard, Bharti concluded:

“My baby is not home alone. My family, two helpers, Harsh’s family, my niece are all around to support me and I also have a camera installed at home to check on him. Currently, he is in safe hands so I don’t worry or feel guilty about leaving him at home. I am very passionate about my work and I also feel that if I had not worked or earned money, we could not have afforded such facilities at home. And this time I am hosting a show alone, so Harsh will be around to check on him.”

On the work front, Bharti Singh will be seen hosting the reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs.
