Bharti Singh Reveals She Plans To Retire In Next 8 To 10 Years, 'Haarsh Yahan Podcast Karega...'

Bharti Singh who comes, from a humble background in Amritsar, came to Mumbai and made her mark in the comedy world, largely dominated by male voices. She became a bold voice for plus-size woman and embraced her weight beautifully. Also, her unmatched comic timing makes her a leading comedienne who inspired more girls to pick this career. But, in her recent vlog, Bharti left everyone surprised with her retirement plans.

Bharti Singh reveals she told her husband, Haarsh, that she won't work after a few years

Fans want to continue witnessing their favourite artists for a lifetime, but excess work leaves the latter with little to no time with their families. In a new vlog, Bharti Singh also discussed the same. She reflected on her 15-year-long career, where work has always been her priority. For those unaware, the diva worked continuously even after her marriage, pregnancy and birth of her son. Consequently, Bharti made an honest confession and mentioned that she never got to feel her feminine joy at because she was always working. In her words: 

“Mujhe aisa kabhi feel nahi hua ki main ek ladki hoon. Maine hamesha kaam kiya isliye mujhe hamesha laga ki main ek mahila hoon. Ab ladki wala feel kahaan se laaun. Mujhe lagta hai jab mera beta bada hoga, tab woh mujhe feel karaayega ki main ek ladki hoon.”

While going to the studio with her husband, Haarsh, Bharti shared her thoughts, highlighting how she has always had responsibilities from a young age. But, sharing about the bright side of her life, Bharti mentioned that her son, Golla (Laksh), tries to make her feel special despite being only 3 years old. So, she told Harsh that she wanted to stop working in the next 8-10 years and would spend time roaming across the world with her son while he will work. Explaining her plan, she said:

“Maine Haarsh se keh diya hai ki main ab kaam nahi karna chahti. Main apne bete ke saath baahar jaana chahti hoon, ghoomna chahti hoon. 8-10 saal aur, phir main kaam karna bandh kar dungi. Main aur mera baccha fir alag-alag countries ghumenge. Aaj Golla 3 saal ka hai, tab 13 saal ka ho jaayega. Haarsh yahaan podcast karega aur hum Switzerland mein ghoom rahe honge.”

Bharti Singh shared she intends to have a daughter in 2025

Since the birth of her son, Golla, Bharti has shared her desire to have another child, a daughter. She has discussed the same in interviews and with guests on her podcast, including Vivian Dsena and Manoj Bajpayee. A few days ago, the comedienne opened up about it again and said she intends to plan her second baby in 2025. Moreover, she even prayed to lord Jagganath in Puri for it. She said:

“I still feel that this year, we should plan. I am not pregnant yet, but I do feel I should be. All I wonder is would we be able to love our baby the same way."
