According to Mark's LinkedIn, Mark has collaborated with major global brands including Netflix, Lionsgate, Spotify, YouTube, and 20th Century Fox. His impressive portfolio also includes work with music icons like Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Dua Lipa, and will. i.am, Ellie Goulding, and Tony Bennett.

Mark Emms produced Netflix’s true crime hit Bad Vegan

One of Mark Emms’ most high-profile projects to date is the Netflix docuseries, Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives, for which he was a executive producer. The true crime series follows the downfall of Sarma Melngailis, a celebrated vegan chef and owner of New York’s Pure Food & Wine, who gets manipulated by a conman named Shane Fox. Talking about this project, Mark could be quoted as saying: 

“I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It was the most bizarre and surreal story I’d ever heard, and I had to try and make sense of it. How and why did this nightmare happen to someone like Sarma? It was also a story that I found deeply shocking and cruel, and it felt important that it be told to a wider audience.”

Beyond Mark’s work in film and as a producer, he has also made a mark in New York’s nightlife scene. He is the co-owner of The Mulberry Bar, a stylish cocktail lounge that opened in February 2023 during New York Fashion Week. In a bold and heartfelt gesture, Bella Thorne proposed to her fiance Mark Emms on August 16, 2025  two years after he initially popped the question. Sharing the moment on Instagram, the actress posted a carousel of photos and videos showing her on one knee, presenting Mark with a ring in a candlelit setting adorned with flowers and red heart-shaped balloons that read ‘I Love You.’ In her caption, she wrote:

“3 years ago we met, 1 year later he proposed, now 1 year later so did I .”

While many fans praised Bella's unconventional move and called it sweet and empowering, others were less enthusiastic. One comment reading “Okay ladies let’s not normalise this, okay?” which received nearly 80,000 likes, sparking debate in the comment section. Bella responded to the commotion the next day via Instagram Stories. She shared a photo of Mark cuddling a dog and wrote: 

“The comments on my post are hilarious!! Totally split down the middle. Half of u are like let’s not normalise proposing to your partner — other half is like f--- yeah girl power this is the sweetest!!”
