However, Hema also revealed that the difficulties she faced had made her very self-reliant. So, if someone were to taunt her now, she wouldn’t take it quietly. Hema said that she had come to terms with her mistakes. But she wouldn’t want to see anyone else make them. Speaking about her two failed marriages with The Indian Express, she said:
“I married twice, and I shouldn’t have gotten into both marriages, so I see that as a big mistake. I chose the wrong people.”
In the same interview with The Indian Express, Hema Sharma said that she had a ‘great experience’ on Bigg Boss 18. She further stated that her exit was ‘tragic’ as she hadn’t had much time to really express herself on the show. She described her journey, saying:
“The initial six days in jail were tough, once I came out, it took me two days to understand people, and the third day I was out.”
Hema further spoke about how Bigg Boss was a platform everyone wanted to reach. But according to her, you could only do so if it was ‘written in your destiny.’ So, the actress felt that it was her destiny to make her life public and let the world know about her. Hema further stated that while the challenges she had overcome helped shape her, Bigg Boss 18 had helped her understand her value.

While Hema’s exit from the show makes her sad, the actress is proud that she will be recognised as a good person. To the actress, it was important that people see her as a self-made woman as she doesn’t have any backing in the industry. Speaking about her personality, she told The Indian Express:
“I am very stubborn, I look beautiful, but I am not a very nice person. I listen to my heart, I have seen lots of ups and downs in my personal life, but I never stopped. I have single-handedly worked hard, especially in the last year.”
