'BB 18's Chum Darang Opens Up On Love Angle With Karan Veer Mehra, 'Joh Hamara..'

It was on January 19, 2024, when the grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 took place. Karan Veer Mehra was declared as the season's winner. Since he entered the show, fans have been loving his chemistry with Chum Darang. They used to affectionately call them, 'ChumVeer'. Their bond became the highlight in the Bigg Boss 18 house, and fans speculated that they had a romantic angle. Chum has now addressed her equation with Karan.

During an interview with FilmyGyan, Chum was asked about the love angle that was brewing between her and Karan in the Bigg Boss 18 house. Chum who was the happiest as she was in the top 5 contestants of the season said:

"Kya kehna hai? Joh hamara bond hai I think bahut organic way mei bana and I think I am really happy to have met him and yeh friendship bahut jaega aage."

Chum was also among one of the top 5 finalists. When she was asked how she had evolved in the show, Chum revealed that she had changed slowly and gradually as she had taken time to open up in front of the contestants. She said with time she could show her real personality.

Chum Darang addresses her friendship with Karan Veer Mehra

Chum, in a log-out media interview, shared that her friendship with Karan would go on. Their bond was not meant to be inside the Bigg Boss 18 house but would also be carried outside. She also said that she always wanted Karan to win the Bigg Boss 18 trophy. After she got evicted and Karan won the trophy, she expressed:

"I am feeling happy. A bit disappointed that I didn’t win the trophy but I was in the top five and my friend won. I was expecting to win the trophy also. It didn’t happen, no problem."

Chum got an emotional tribute from the Bigg Boss 18, which earned her praise from the audience. Bigg Boss shared that her name would be known across India. She had become emotional seeing her journey in the house. From her fights with Shrutika Arjun, her bond with Shilpa Shirodkar, and her adorable chemistry with Karan, Bigg Boss's words resonated with her. Chum deeply related with the words of Bigg Boss and thanked everyone who helped her fulfil the dream of entering the Bigg Boss 18 house and playing her cards well. Bigg Boss said:

"Sapne dekhna kabhi mat chhodna. Not only Arunachal Pradesh but the entire India is proud of you.”

Karan always seemed to have a special bond with Chum. Their chemistry was crackling, and their connection was eye-catching. Karan had addressed the same to the media and said that, as Salman said the choice is always with the girl. He is living in his second-hand youth. He wants Chum to tell him how to define the bond.
