Bebika Dhurve is one of the most loved faces in Indian Television. The actress, who is known for her beautiful looks and bubbly nature, grabbed all the headlines with her performance in the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2. She gave tough competition to all the other fellow contestants of the show till the very end. She was selected as one of the top 5 finalists, and came up as a runner-up. And now, Bebika opened up about unheard anecdotes from inside the BB house, where she faced incidents of body shaming and mental trauma.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Bebika Dhurve opened up about her journey in the show. She revealed that after coming out from the show, she re-watched the show with her family, and was disheartened to see the lack of respect shown towards her by her fellow contestants. She revealed how the other participants openly body shamed her and even called her a mental person. In her words:

“They had called me mental, a person who has mental illness and that I do unusual things, I’m a negative person. They were setting false narratives against me. I was body shamed by not just Abhishek but other girls like Jiya Shankar and Palak Purswani which I saw after coming out of the show. It was very disappointing and disheartening.”

Moving further in the interview, Bebika revealed the bitter exchange of words she had with her once buddy, Abhishek Malhan in the show. She revealed that his arrogant behaviour hurt her, as he was quick to shrug her off from their erstwhile friendship. In her words:
“When Abhishek got arrogant, bitter with me and started to shrug me off, it hurt me a lot. He started to ignore me and made new friends. They all started to bitch about me, mock me, and all that hurt me a lot. But now what really matters is how the journey has ended. I’m happy everything is fine with Abhishek."
Speaking about her once-bestie, Manisha Rani, Bebika highlighted that despite the humongous amounts of fights and arguments she had with the former, nevertheless, she was ready to give their friendship another chance. Bebika emphasised that her bonding with Manisha was very genuine from right in the beginning, and she seriously hopes to reconnect with her.
