Bigg Boss 18 kept viewers on the edge of their seats since it first aired on October 6, 2024. The show was jam-packed with surprising twists that always kept fans guessing what was going to happen next, and the grand finale was no different. While viewers thought contestants Vivian Dsena or Rajat Dalal would be competing for the winner's title, underdog Karan Veer Mehra ended up taking the trophy home. Following his massive win, Karan reflected on his Bigg Boss journey, including its high and low points. He placed his roast of Vivian Dsena in the latter category.
In a spectacularly shocking twist, Karan Veer Mehra was named the winner of Bigg Boss Season 18, much to the excitement of his many fans. Following his exit from the show, the actor reflected on his journey, reflecting on his high and low points in a candid chat with SCREEN. Naming his roast of Vivian Dsena as his low point, Karan expressed his regret and wished he could have avoided the same. He can be quoted as saying:
"The task where I lifted Edin or trimmed Rajat's beard were my high points. The low point was the roast I did with Vivian, I should have avoided that."
Karan further reflected on his 12-year-long friendship with Vivian Dsena and their bittersweet equation inside the house. For the unversed, the duo were frequently at odds, with Vivian declaring that he didn't consider Karan a friend on many occasions. Karan shared his thoughts on the same and said:
"We had a lover's spat on the show, actually both of our definitions of friendship are very different. He thought of me as a dearer friend and I was coming from a space where I thought he was getting things very easily. But now it's a 100-day friendship."
After exiting Bigg Boss 18, second runner-up Vivian Dsena reacted to Karan Veer Mehra's roast of him involving his baby girl, Layan. For the unversed, the finalists engaged in a roasting session with guests Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri. During the same, Karan cracked a joke about how Vivian's own daughter failed to recognise him, but it didn't go down with Vivian, who called it a personal attack.
Reacting to the fiasco, Vivian stated that it was best not to talk about the subject. He further stated that it was common sense that a 2 to 2.5-year-old baby did not have much sense. However, Vivian added that he wasn't one to hold on to grudges and preferred forgiving those who wronged him. According to the Madhubala actor, the negativity from inside the house was best left in there while they focused on the beautiful life ahead.

"I share this trophy with all those who have voted and loved me and of course the media who I have not paid. I have gotten used to winning, I want to have a hat-trick now. So please Colors TV announce another show now which I could win, maybe Laughter Chefs."
Karan was also asked what it felt like to win two shows consecutively. For the unversed, the actor's Bigg Boss 18 win came not long after he claimed the winner's title for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Reflecting on what these successive wins meant to him, Karan said that success should be taken 'with a pinch of salt' as it didn't teach anything. He further stated that he was glad to have failed so many times to reach where he is now.
