Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta were once one of the much-loved couples. The duo got married in 2008, and in 2011, they welcomed their daughter, Meira. However, after several years of marital bliss, the couple separated back in 2022, and later they filed for divorce. The ex-couple continues to co-parent their daughter. Indraneil and Barkha will be next seen in the film, Chalti Rahe Zindagi, which was shot before their separation. And recently, Barkha talked about her current equation with Indraneil.
In an interview with Zoom, Barkha added that the movie, which will feature her and Indraneil, was shot even before they were separated. Talking about her equation with Indraneil, Barkha shared that they haven't worked together since they were separated, and she has doubts about doing the same in the near future. Barkha also mentioned that some people share a cordial bond after separating from their partners, but she and Indraneil currently don't have any equation as of now for several reasons. Barkha said:

"This film was shot before that. We haven't shot together. I doubt we will in the near future. Some people have a great equation even after separating, and some people don't. Unfortunately, Indraneil and I don't have that equation yet, for various reasons.”

In the same conversation, Barkha said that she would like to share an equation with Indraneil, as it's been four years since they have been separated, and thus, she thinks that she has already moved on in her life. The actress stated that after everything, her estranged husband is a nice man, which is why she would like to restore their friendship someday. Barkha can be quoted as saying:
"Now that it has been four years since we've separated. I think I have moved on from the past and I would love to be friends with him someday because he's a great person, he's a really nice man."
Going further in the interview, Barkha mentioned that she and Indraneil had spent 15 years together and this is why she wants to be friends with him yet again. She also hoped for things to get better and stated that there would surely be a day when she and Indraneil would not feel awkward even if they bump into one another at social events, and would also work together.

In an older interview with Zoom, Indraneil Sengupta said it was wrong the way things were circulated that he had abandoned his kid. Indrneil said that he has only one kid, and he works hard for that little one. Talking more about the same, Indraneil remarked that the only reason the little one stayed more with her mom as she was entering into womanhood back then.

In the same interview, Indraneil mentioned that he and Barkha parted ways as they are completely different personalities, and with time, the gap has become more, which caused them to take this decision.
