Badshah is one of the most-loved artists and rappers in the music industry of India at the moment. His peppy numbers have become a party starter across the country and the audiences simply love his rocking performances, catchy wordplay and stimulating beats. Arijit Singh, on the other hand, is the healer of broken hearts. The talented singer has been unanimously hailed as the melody king, whose heart-touching songs make audiophiles feel a sense of ecstasy. The two of them, with their completely different styles of singing, recently collaborated for a song titled Soulmate for the album, Ek Tha Raja.
A special moment between Arijit Singh and Badshah has impressed innumerable fans of the duo, during their live performance in Bangkok. In the clip that has gone viral in no time, Arijit Singh can be seen finishing off his song on-stage, when he announced Badshah’s name and invited him to join the stage for their collaborative performance. Interestingly, the latter subtly came up the stage from behind and bent down to touch Arijit’s feet. While Badshah is three-years elder to Arijit, who is his contemporary, the former’s gesture clearly spoke volumes about the respect the rapper has for the latter, who is senior to him experience wise.

“Meine toh apne voce ko toda hai, mera voice thodi aisa tha pehle. Mera voice alag e tha. Who voice back karne ke liye mujhe 2-3 mahina saab chor dena parega, but people hated that voice. It’s almost like sculpting your voice. Bohot torture kia ha apne aap ko ek tarike se taaki voice ka projection alag ho jaye, bascally voice ka muscle banne jaisa.”
In the same interaction, Arijit Singh discussed the prevalent use of AI even in the music industry and revealed how many people try to copy or imitate his voice using such tools. The singer remarked how he thus wants to patent his voice and license it, so that it doesn’t get misused by anyone. Moreover, Arijit added that he doesn’t mind others using his voice, if they use it for good purposes related to singing.

Despite attaining such immense stardom, Arijit Singh is one such rare artist who, in his personal life, tends to keep it extremely low-key. For instance, the artist reportedly stays in his hometown in Murshidabad, and it is only due to work that he travels to Mumbai. Moreover, in several viral glimpses of the singer from his native place, he can be seen carrying out regular chores like an ordinary person would, without any hesitation. Speaking along the same lines, Arijit, in an earlier interview with The Statesman, revealed how nothing hasn’t changed for him in all these years. He expressed:
“Words such as ‘star’ and ‘celebrity’ are imaginary creations. These words have gained more importance lately, especially in this industry and show business. This, like any other business, is a place where creative people come together to make movies or music. So, nothing has really changed it’s still the same. I still enjoy a quiet and simple life the way I used to.”
