Babil Khan is a doting son who often shares precious memories and anecdotes about his late father, Irrfan Khan, in his posts. Some days ago, posting some BTS pictures from Irrfan Khan's critically acclaimed film, Qareeb Qareeb Single, Babil had narrated an interesting story. He had revealed how they couldn't shoot in Gangtok because every time they would try to, the crowd would gather around Irrfan Khan, making it impossible to shoot. Such was the stardom of the late actor! (Also Read: Kapil Sharma Admits Wearing His Wife, Ginni Chatrath's Nighty At Home On His Chat Show [Watch Now])
Babil had narrated the incident and had written, "So the story is: I was assisting with the camera team on QQS. There was a shot needed on a Gangtok street but the people would crowd around the set and Baba, soon after a few takes it started seeming impossible to shoot the sequence. So, Tanuja ma'am handed me a guitar and said go 100m away and start performing. She called out a loud "PACK UP!" for the crowd to hear and then I started singing with the guitar and the crowd dissipated towards this new divertissement. As I sung they quickly shot the sequence using natural light and finished the job. True story. Funny. Experience to use for all filmmakers, use your interns in the most creative ways. (The sad truth is most of the times our politics and selected news and media outlets that control information being distributed to our people also are running a similar divertissement.)."

A few days ago, Babil Khan had shared yet another endearing memory with his baba, Irrfan Khan. In the picture, they could be seen sitting on the shore, and the doting father was clicking his son's picture. Remembering his father, Babil had penned a soulful note expressing how even his baba's mortal absence doesn't change the fact that he still guides and motivates him. His note could be read as "Switching places by the lake. I love the way you shake my soul still. I took that jump you know, funny it was waiting outside my door still. You said "that's all you have to do." I leapt off a little too late, but I did in memories of you." Babil's mother and Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar had commented on the post, "And I still have this sweater of your to freeze the moment."
