Babil Khan LEAVES Sai Rajesh's Movie After His Breakdown Video Was Slammed, 'Taking Time Off'

Late Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan's son, Babil Khan, recently hogged the limelight when a clip of the actor having an emotional breakdown went viral on social media. Videos of the star went viral, where he was seen calling out Bollywood stars as rude and slamming celebrities like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Raghav Juyal, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The actor then deleted his Instagram handle and returned, claiming that his statements were misinterpreted. He even clarified that he was praising the stars rather than slamming them. Now, the actor shared recently about walking out of director Sai Rajesh's movie.

Babil Khan exits Sai Rajesh's movie

After Babil had a breakdown, the director, Sai slammed him and said he needed to post an apology as the sympathy games would not work. Babil became angry and in return he said that he had slit his wrist. Sai had to delete his post later, and now Babil has shared the trailer for his movie. Babil also shared that there was immense love between him and his love for the work of Sai Rajesh, and that they would again meet in the future and create magic together. It is interesting to note that Babil had disabled his comments section on the post.  A while back, Babil took to his Instagram handle to write:

"With a lot of grit, passion, and mutual respect, Sai Rajesh sir and I both got along on this journey of creating magic together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn't go ahead as everyone had planned. Since I will be taking some time off currently, I wish the best to Sai Rajesh sir and the film team on their future journey."

Director, Sai Rajesh, respects Babil Khan's decision to exit from the movie

Sai Rajesh, on the other hand, also shared a statement and revealed that the young starkid is one of the most talented and hard-working stars he had met in his life. Although he has to accept with a pinch of salt the grim reality of the entire situation. Sai shared that after spending time with Babil in prepping, he was happy to be working with the talented actor. A part of Sai's post read:

"I will still always cherish the experience of seeing him perform in front of me... I will miss my Hero! "I respect his decision of self-care first, and wish him all the best and send him all the love in the future! I know we both will create that magic together for sure."

When Babil Khan deleted his Instagram account and then returned

A video had gone viral earlier on Reddit, in which Babil was seen having an emotional breakdown. Despite being called as fake, his words were misinterpreted to the greatest extent. It was on May 4, 2025 when the actor, after deleting his Instagram handle again, joined back. He had thanked Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Gaurav Adarsh and Arijit Singh for showing him support. He had also re-shared snaps with stars, he had slammed. His post read:

"Thank you so much, this video was extremely misinterpreted. I was trying to show support to Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Gaurav Adarsh, Arjun Kapoor, Raghav Juyal and Arijit Singh. I genuinely don't have the energy to indulge more, but I do this as a responsibility for my peers that I truly admire."
