Babil Khan Bashes Sai Rajesh For Criticising His Statement In The Crying Video, Says 'Broke My...'

Babil Khan, son of Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, seems to have been going through a tough phase. Despite his work and phenomenal acting skills, which gained the audience's love, Babil seems to be emotionally alone and left out. While the video was 'extremely misinterpreted' at first, the actor later clarified that he was praising the actors and not criticising them. However, now the actor has reacted to filmmaker Sai Rajesh's post criticising him even after he clarified his crying video.

Babil Khan reacts to Sai Rajesh's criticism 

According to a report by the Peeping Moon, Babil was a part of Sai's remake of his film, Baby. And, on May 4, 2025, after Babil posted videos on his Instagram Stories, he lashed out at Bollywood and name-dropped several actors. Sai shared a lengthy note on his Instagram handle. Babil, however, was hurt by the comment made by Sai and stated:

"You really broke my heart. After everything I’ve given to you. @satish_naidu1982 2 years of my life, complete physical atrocity to my body just so I can do justice to his character, I gave him my soul, rejected everything that came in my way for 2 years, anything and everything he needed, for 500 days of my life."

Babil also commented on how he has put himself through a lot for the character in Sai's film, Baby. He revealed that he had bugs in his beard because the filmmaker required him to. However, what shocked us was when Babil revealed that he harmed himself for Sai. While the post was later deleted, it was quoted as reading:

"Not to mention, the pain and the suffering I put in my soul, lived in filth just to make sure sir @sairazesh is happy with the character. It's okay now. I'll let my work speak. Goodbye. Man, I had bugs in my beard because he needed that in the character. I gave him my laughter while I held back my tears. I slit my f****** wrist for him."

Sai Rajesh criticised Babil Khan

Sai Rajesh shared a long note about his dismay about the posts made by Babil Khan. He stated that if his team thinks that they are naive, they will walk away silently. He added that he was ready to stand by Babil till this point, but if only the names in the video deserve respect and the rest of them should just stand like fools, he would like to withdraw. The note, which was later deleted, read:

"To Babil Khan's team. Do you really think we’re that naive to just walk away silently? What kind of attitude are we being subjected to? It feels like only those whose names were mentioned in his video deserve respect — and the rest of us are just fools for standing by him all this while? If you're making them feel valued just because he gave them a shoutout, and ignoring the rest of us — then yes, we do deserve an apology for how things have been handled. I genuinely wanted to stand by him even until an hour ago. But if you're taking us for granted, that stops here. These sympathy games won't work on us anymore. A sincere apology is the least you owe us. Say it, and let's move on."

Babil Khan's crying video and clarification 

On May 4, 2025, Babil went viral on Reddit, leaving fans extremely concerned for him. In the shocking clip, Babil looks upset and about to break down as he tries to form words to express his emotions. However, he let it all out as he cried out in front of his phone camera and stated how Bollywood is so rude. Babil mentioned some of the renowned Bollywood people, including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Arjun Kapoor.

Not only this, but he also included Raghav Juyal, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and some more to acknowledge their work in cinema. While the video was extremely misinterpreted, the actor's team quickly stepped in and issued an official clarification on the matter. Sharing a formal note, they reassured fans about his well-being and mentioned that Babil was just experiencing one of his difficult days, referring to his mental health struggles.
