B Praak Cancels Podcast With BeerBiceps Over 'India's Got Latent' Row: 'Aapki Soch Itni Ghatiya Hai'

Renowned singer, B Praak has officially pulled out of appearing at an upcoming episode of the BeerBiceps podcast hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia, following the massive outrage over his derogatory remarks on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. Ranveer recently faced massive backlash for his crass remarks on Samay’s show in the name of ‘dark comedy’, and a police complaint has been registered against him.

B Praak takes a stand against ‘pathetic thinking’

B Praak, popularly known for songs like Teri Mitti and Mann Bharryaa, was one of the artists to arrive at Ranveer’s podcast. However, after his derogatory remarks at Samay’s show, the singer withdrew his invitation. Taking to his Instagram, B Praak made a video statement on February 10, 2025, expressing his disappointment over the content being circulated in the name of humour. He said:

“Samay Raina ke show pe jo ho raha hai, yeh hamara Indian culture nahi hai… Aap apne parents ki kaunsi stories bata rahe ho?… Yeh comedy hai?... Logon ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana, yeh kaunsi generation hai?”

The singer also took a dig at Maheep Singh, one of the judges at Samay Raina’s show, known for his remarks at contestants’ mothers. B Praak called him out, questioning how someone from the Sikh community could endorse such behaviour. He said:

“Sardar ji, aapko pata hai ki aap ek Sikh ho, kya aapko yeh baatein shobha deti hain? ‘Mummy kaisi hai?’ Are you crazy?... Aur woh Sardar ji apne Instagram pe proudly dalte hain ki ‘Main gaaliyan deta hoon toh kya problem hai?’ Humein problem hai, aur hamesha rahegi."

B Praak slams Ranveer Allahbadia

Further into his video note, B Praak individually called out Ranveer Allahbadia. He slammed the creator for promoting spirituality and the Sanatan religion in his podcast, even having conversations with saints and spiritual people, and still having the mentality to make such crass comments about someone’s parents. He also addressed Samay Raina and everyone who attends the show, saying:

“Ranveer Allahbadia, aap Sanatan Dharma ko promote karte ho, spirituality ki baat karte ho. Aapke podcast pe itne bade-bade log aate hain, itne bade sant aate hain, aur fir bhi aapki soch itni ghatiya hai?... Samay Raina aur… sab comedians se… haath jod ke guzarish hai ki please aisa content mat banao. Hamare Indian culture ko bachakar rakho… Yeh sab ghatiya content mat banao, please!... Aap sab itne bade log ban chuke ho. Aapko yeh dikhana chahiye ki hum apne culture ko kaise promote karein… Meri aap sabhi comedians se ek bahut hi humble request hai… ki aisa content mat banao jo aane wali generation ko bigaad de.”

BeerBiceps under fire for distasteful question at IGL

During his appearance as a judge on IGL, Ranveer Allahbadia crossed the line while grilling a contestant. He questioned a contestant whether they would watch their parents get intimate for the rest of their lives, or join them once and put a stop to it. The clip sparked massive backlash, especially since children also watch the show. An FIR was lodged against Ranveer for his classless remarks. Meanwhile, Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, also faced criticism for using abusive language in the show.
