Ayesha Takia's EXPLOSIVE Reaction To Husband Farhan Azmi's Goa Arrest: 'We Have Video Proof'

Bollywood actress, Ayesha Takia has finally broken her silence after her husband, businessman Farhan Azmi, was booked by Goa Police following an altercation in Candolim. The incident, which allegedly involved rash driving and a heated argument with locals, escalated when Farhan reportedly brandished his licensed firearm. While the police filed a complaint against him for disturbing public peace, Ayesha has now hit back, claiming her husband and son were victims of harassment and intimidation.

Ayesha Takia lashes out at Goa police for arresting her husband instead of protecting him

To give you a little background, a report by Hindustan Times revealed that Farhan Azmi, along with two residents of Goa, were arrested by the police. Farhan, who was driving a luxury SUV in Goa’s Candolim area, was stopped by locals who accused him of rash driving. In response, Farhan called the police and allegedly warned the locals to step back, stating that he had a licensed firearm for protection. Reacting to the incident, Ayesha Takia shared her side of the story through Instagram. Sharing a post on her IG stories, Ayesha wrote:

“It was a night of horror for our family up until this morning… Just saw this post and need to share. I will share more in due time… My husband and son were brutally bullied and scared for their life as local Goan goons mobbed, threatened and tormented them for hours… They even badly roughed up the police who were called by my husband to protect our son and him."

The Wanted actress further claimed that people from Maharashtra are often targeted and disliked by locals in Goa. Describing the incident, Ayesha alleged that the police, whom Farhan had called for protection for himself and their son, instead turned against them. She stated that they were cursed for being from Maharashtra and owning a luxury car. Ayesha wrote:

“The hatred for Maharashtra has reached unbelievable heights in Goa… as they repeatedly cursed Farhan and my son for being from Maharashtra and having a big car. The Police, in turn, have filed a complaint against Farhan when he was the one in fact who dialled 100 for help against the large crowd of almost 150 people.”

While Farhan Azmi has not issued an official statement yet, this is not his first controversial encounter in Goa. Back in 2022, he accused airport officials of racism after an alleged altercation with security personnel. With Ayesha promising to release evidence soon, this case is far from over.
