Ayesha Jhulka's Alleged Affair With Nana Patekar, His Then GF Manisha Koirala Caught Them Red-Handed

Best known as the Pehla Nasha girl, Ayesha Jhulka won many hearts in the 90s with her innocent face. Her girl-next-door looks won her many brownie points as people could relate to the characters she played on-screen. Ayesha is still remembered for her stellar performance in the film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, where she played the role of 'Anjali', who was madly in love with her childhood friend, 'Sanju' (Aamir Khan).

Ayesha Jhulka made her Bollywood debut in the film, Kurbaan in 1991. Post Kurbaan, she appeared in Mansoor Khan’s directorial film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Ayesha had worked with many leading names in Bollywood and gave tough competition to her contemporaries like Mamta Kulkarni and Divya Bharti.

When Manisha Koirala caught Nana Patekar with Ayesha Jhulka

Ayesha Jhulka has been linked to many actors like Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. However, it was her alleged affair with Nana Patekar that made headlines. It was reported that Nana and Ayesha started dating while filming Aanch, and the two had some bold scenes together. Reports also stated that Ayesha and Nana were in a live-in relationship.

Despite being married, Nana Patekar was madly in love with Manisha Koirala. But their relationship went for a toss when Manisha caught Nana red-handed with Ayesha Jhulka in a closed room. As per a report in MensXP, seeing Nana with Ayesha, Manisha lost her cool. Screaming at Ayesha, Manisha shouted:

“Get off my man, you bi**h.”

After she caught Nana with Ayesha, Manisha broke up with him. Nana continued his relationship with Ayesha and reportedly even went public about it. However, the duo eventually broke up, and Nana’s temperament was cited as the reason.

Ayesha Jhulka was at the peak of her career when she decided to quit films. The reason behind it was her love for actor, Armaan Kohli. After doing some films together, Ayesha and Armaan started dating and got engaged. As the two were set to tie the knot, the actress stopped taking up further projects. But as her fans were eagerly waiting for her wedding announcement, Ayesha and Armaan broke up.

Multiple reports at that time stated that before tying the knot with Ayesha, Armaan fell in love with someone else, and it shattered Ayesha. The two broke up, and before Ayesha could come to terms with her heartbreak, she already lost big projects. As a result, her career took a back seat, and she was no longer in the top actresses' league.

Ayesha Jhulka’s personal life

Ayesha Jhulka has been happily married to business tycoon Sameer Vashi since 2003. Ayesha and Sameer have no kids, and it was the couple’s conscious decision not to have any children. In a throwback interview, Ayesha spoke about the same and stated that she spends a lot of time on social causes and hardly gets any time. She was clear from the beginning that she did not have children, and her husband and family supported her decision.

Apart from doing small roles in movies, she co-owns a construction company, SamRock, a clothing line, a spa and a boutique resort in Goa. Apart from all these, Ayesha is actively involved in social causes and animal aid.
