The Balika Vadhu fame is all set to start a new chapter of her life with her fiancé, Milind, a social activist. In a recent interview, she shared her excitement about her big day.
The Sasural Simar Ka fame is all set to exchange vows with her fiancé, Milind Chandwani, on September 30, 2025. From today, on September 22, 2025, she will start her wedding celebrations. But do you know, the couple will get married on national television? Yes, you read it right. Avika and Milind will tie the knot on the sets of Pati, Patni Aur Panga. In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Avika confirmed the big news and shared her excitement for her special day. She also shared that both of their families are very excited about their wedding. In her words:
"There are days when I wake up and remind myself that it’s real. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found a partner who supports me, understands me, and always pushes me to grow in life."
In the same interview, Avika revealed that the decision to get married on national television is not just a grand gesture, but is rather a deeply personal matter. She shared that since 2008, she has been in the public eye, and the love and blessings she has received from the audience are truly overwhelming. So, she wanted her audience to be part of her special moment. She mentioned that it was a manifestation and recalled a childhood memory when she used to tell her parents that she would either have a court marriage or a big fat wedding. In her words:
"I’ve been in the public eye since 2008, and the love and blessings I’ve received from people have been overwhelming. I wanted my audience, who have been such an important part of my journey, to also be a part of this special moment. I always used to tell my parents, ‘I will either do a court marriage that no one will get to know about, or it’s going to be a grand wedding that the whole world will celebrate with me.’ It’s like my childhood dream is coming true with this new chapter."
Avika Gor shared that her family was instantly supportive of her wedding plans, and her mom got emotional when the invite was revealed on set. On September 22, 2025, after visiting the Siddhivinayak Mandir, she will finalise invites. For her big day, Avika has chosen a traditional red bridal look, and told her family that the guests should wear pastels. While industry friends like Harsh Limbachiyaa, Bharti Singh, Jannat Zubair, Aly Goni and others may miss out, stars like Radhe Maa, Neha Kakkar, Sonali Bendre, and other close ones will join the wedding celebrations.
Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani first met in Hyderabad in 2020 through mutual friends. While Avika instantly felt a spark, Milind kept her in the friend zone for six months. Reflecting on this, Avika once revealed in a conversation with Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa that Milind wanted to ensure their bond as friends was strong before moving forward.

On June 11, 2025, Avika shared glimpses of their roka and engagement ceremony on her Instagram handle. She looked graceful in a pastel pink saree, while Milind looked dapper in an ivory kurta-pyjama with a floral Nehru jacket. Sharing her dreamy engagement pictures, she penned:
"He asked. I smiled, I cried and screamed the easiest YES of my life! It. Is. Magical."
