Avika Gor is undoubtedly one of the most notable faces in Indian television. She made her way into the hearts of millions with her innocence and acting capabilities at the age of 12, in the hit serial, Balika Vadhu. She received humoungous success and recognition within a short while, it also led to her being recognised globally. Thereafter, as an adult, she became a part of few other hit shows, including Sasural Simar Ka, Raajkumar Aaryyan, Laado-Veerpur Ki Mardaani and others.
In an interaction with Hauterrfly, Avika Gor recounted one of the most scary moments of her life, wherein she was left shocked after a person touched her inappropriately. Well, the diva mentioned how it was none other than her bodyguard, who, during an event, touched her in a bad way from behind. It happened twice, and it was only during the second time that she was able to retaliate. Narrating the incident, she said:

“I just looked at him and was like, 'What?' and he just apologised. So what do I do after that? So I just let it go. They don't know what effect his act is having on the other person.”

Speaking along the same lines, Avika Gor then admitted how she feels that she has a lack of courage to call out such creepy men, who dishonour women by touching them inappropriately. She mentioned that if she was courageous enough, she would have hit a thousand people for the same. In her words:
“If I had the courage to turn around and give it, then I would have hit a lot of people by now. Now I think I can do it, but I hope it doesn't come to that.”
In another segment of the same interview, Avika had spoken about her experiences as a child artist on the sets of Balika Vadhu. She recalled learning a key biological factor of menstruation during her shooting schedule, since she had to shoot a sequence that sensitised the masses against the taboos associated with it. Talking more on it, she had said:
“For that particular scene my mom had explained to me what periods are. She said, 'You have this scene so I have to explain it to you. This will happen in real life too but this is how it is.' So thanks to Balika Vadhu, I learned too many things too early."

In 2020, through a detailed post on social-media, Avika Gor candidly spoke about her weight loss journey. She mentioned how she felt bad looking at herself, with her flabby physique and a belly, which simply happened after she over-looked on maintaining a healthy life.
