Atul Subhash's drastic step has rekindled the debate across the country about the pressure and humiliation a man has to go through under the dowry act, which is being misused against the boy's family. The lawyer Dinesh Mishra, who represented Atul Subhash in the family court, said that he presented a truthful account of his experience with the justice system.

The lawyer shared that the judge was not behind Atul's death. The 34-year-old Bengaluru techie earned approximately around Rs. 84,000 monthly. "Atul probably thought this Rs 40,000 was too much. If he felt this amount was excessive, he should have gone to the High Court to challenge it."

Let us inform you that filing a case in the High Court to challenge the family court decision is not easy. The lawyers take a lot of money to file the case. It is a vicious circle that people often get stuck in. And Atul Subhash dealt with the same. The humiliation from his wife and her family to being dragged into court for a crime he had never committed was way too much to deal with.

We hope and pray that Atul Subhash gets justice and that his family and soul can find peace!
