Bollywood actress, Athiya Shetty got hitched to the love of her life, KL Rahul on January 23, 2022, in an intimate wedding ceremony. However, every glimpse of the madly-in-love couple's pre-wedding and the wedding was loved by their millions of fans on social media. Moreover, Athiya's stunning outfits and jewellery gave trendy goals for every bride-to-be. Be it her beige-gold silk saree look for the pre-wedding puja, golden suit for the haldi ceremony, or pastel Anamika Khanna attire on her D-Day, each of Athiya's ensembles was drool-worthy. Athiya Shetty's kaleera designer, Mrinalini Chandra shared an array of pictures giving a closer look at the newbie bride's customised style statements. The kaleeras featured stars and sunflowers along with the saptapadi inscribed on them. The seven vows of marriage were engraved on the handcrafted sunflowers to manifest the joyous union of the happy couple. Indeed, the meaningful Sanskrit vows added a charm to Athiya's kaleeras. KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty's first public appearance post-wedding

On January 30, 2023, the newlywedded couple, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty made their first public appearance post-wedding. It was when the madly-in-love duo stepped out for the first time for a dinner date. In the glimpses which surfaced on the internet, Athiya looked stunning in a blue-hued shirt featuring brown prints, paired with denim pants. On the other hand, Rahul opted for a white-coloured t-shirt and blue denim. The couple was seen brimming with joy as they were papped.

Glimpses from Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul's mehendi ceremony

Earlier, on January 29, 2023, Athiya and KL Rahul shared stunning pictures from their mehendi ceremony. In one of the pictures, KL Rahul was seen adorably pulling her cheeks, while she was seen staring at the man of her dreams. For the pre-wedding function, Athiya stunned in a lemon yellow-hued lehenga choli paired with a matching dupatta, long statement earrings and a maang teeka. She completed her look with dewy makeup and a back-brushed open hairdo. In contrast, KL Rahul looked handsome in a grey-hued kurta pyjama. The cute couple was also seen dancing their hearts out at the following event, sangeet night.

For the wedding, Athiya opted for a heavily embellished peach-hued Anamika Khanna lehenga. She paired it with a matching full-sleeved choli and dupatta. Moreover, she wore a polki neckpiece, matching earrings, a sleek maang teeka, matching kadas and unique kaleeras. She completed her look with muted makeup, winged eyes and nude lipstick. On the other hand, KL Rahul opted for an ivory sherwani paired with a matching doshala. Together, they looked simply straight out of a fairytale.
