Athiya Shetty fulfilled her father, Sunil Shetty, wish to become a grandfather by announcing her first pregnancy by the end of 2024. Athiya, who likes to keep her personal life away from the limelight, shared her first photos flaunting her baby bump, and oh, boy, she looked magical.

On January 29, 2025, Athiya took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her pregnancy diaries. The mommy-to-be radiated pregnancy glow in a monochrome ensemble. She picked a white flowy skirt with a pair of black turtleneck sweaters. She styled her hair long, curly hair tied in a ponytail.

Subtle makeup and statement-long danglers completed her look. In the first photo, Athiya was seen flaunting her glow, while in another, she was seen cradling her fully-grown baby bump. She also shared a sunkissed picture of herself, and the living room area, which was decorated with sunflowers.

On January 2, 2025, Athiya Shetty took to her Instagram handle and shared a monochrome picture with KL Rahul. In the photo, Athiya held KL Rahul's hand as they were sitting in a cafe, and she rested her head on his shoulder. It was a cute moment. However, she treated her fans with a glimpse of her morning walk as KL Rahul held her hand. We also got a sneak peek of her baby bump.

Athiya also shared a quote highlighting her wellness mantra for the year. It read, "Slow down often, count your blessings, be kind to your heart, believe in new beginnings." Athiya captioned the post as:

"2025, looking forward to you."

The picture note also had tiny feet and a cute amulet to protect from evil eye.

It all started when, during the grandparent's special episode, Bharti told Suniel that he has to behave when he becomes a grandfather, as no kid can handle such a cool grandparent. To which, Suniel said:

“Yes next season when I come I will be walking on the stage like a Nana.”

Suniel's statement instantly went viral, and people started wondering if his daughter, Athiya Shetty, was going to become a mother.
