As the video spread, netizens began scrutinising their workplace relationship, especially after Kristin's old LinkedIn quotes about earning CEOs' trust resurfaced. Coming to Kristin Cabot's LinkedIn post, the Astronomer's Chief People Officer is a seasoned HR executive known for her people-first approach. However, amid the affair row, an old post from her LinkedIn account has gone viral, in which she discussed winning over the trust of all employees, from CEOs to assistants. Nonetheless, it was the part about the CEOs which became a lightning rod for criticism. She was quoted as saying:

Another post from seven months ago has also gone viral on the internet. The post by Kristin Cabot praised Andy Byron. The post talked about how Kristin was energised by her conversation with Andy. She described her job as 'people strategy,' stating that real changes occur when business and HR goals align. However, this strategic alignment is now being questioned in light of the viral incident. Kristin's post was quoted as saying:

"I have been energised in my conversations with Andy Byron and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here."

In another post, Andy Byron was seen praising Kristin Cabot. While such statements are often seen as common in executive introductions, critics now argue that Andy's endorsement of Kristin might go deeper than just a professional one. It is also worth noting that while Kristin appreciated Andy, several former employees of Astonomer have come forward to share how 'toxic' Andy was as a boss since the video of his affair surfaced online. He was quoted as saying:

However, as soon as the kiss cam focused on them, the couple dodged and hid from the frame, making the frontman of the band, Chris Martin, joke about the duo having an affair. Well, as it turns out, the duo was indeed having an affair. For the unversed, Andy is married to Megan Kerrigan, who resides in New York with their two children.
