Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron's Wife, Megan Kerrigan DELETES FB Account, Netizens Say, 'I Feel Bad..'

Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron has been making headlines, not for his work, but for allegedly betraying his wife, Megan Kerrigan. The businessman was attending the Coldplay concert in Boston when he was caught snuggling with his HR head, Kristin Cabot. The video quickly went viral on social media, with netizens digging into Andy's personal life. Soon enough, the eagle-eyed netizens found his wife, Megan's Facebook account. However, she has now deleted the same.

It was only a few hours ago when Megan Kerrigan dropped the Byron surname from her Facebook handle. However, with the intensity of the internet speculations, she has now deleted her Facebook account altogether. For the unversed, the controversial video soon went viral on social media, showing Andy embracing Kristin Cabot. Nonetheless, what started the speculation was the fact that as soon as the 'Kiss Cam' focused on the couple, they awkwardly turned their face away. The duo soon left the frame. 

The video could have been an awkward 'Kiss Cam' moment, but it was further made viral by Chris Martin's statement about the couple. Oblivious to who the duo was, the Coldplay frontman commented on how either Andy or Kristin was having an affair or was just extremely camera-shy. Well, as it turns out, the frontman was right about the affair. Unfortunately, it is Andy's wife, Megan Kerrigan and their two children who have been caught in the crossfire of this affair. Chris had joked:

"Either they're having an affair or they're just really shy."

Netizens slam Andy Byron for infidelity

In the wake of public exposure, Megan Kreeigan removed 'Byron' from her last name and then deactivated her Facebook account altogether. Her reaction came after she was flooded with comments referencing the alleged affair. Netizens have been flooding the social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), to show their support towards Megan and criticising Andy and Kristin. A user penned, "I feel so bad for his wife and at the same time so happy they were humiliated like that in front of thousands." A user in a long note wrote:

"I've been inadvertently following this all day since the first clips came out. What a pair of nitwits. His poor wife. At least if she decides to divorce him, she's got great grounds. And she can at least be thankful she was spared the ordeal of a Coldplay concert."

Another commented, "I feel so bad for his wife and at the same so happy they were humiliated like that in front of thousands of people." A comment read, "That's perfect. The divorce will be easy, and the wife will be rich. I feel terrible for his wife, but to be honest, seeing them get publicly humiliated like that was satisfying, and if she's the Chief People Officer, does that mean she has to lead her own workplace misconduct meeting? Cause the irony is insane." A user wrote, "It isn’t funny. His wife is now feeling agony, as well as humiliation. Have a little compassion, please."
