Actress Who Romanced Abhishek Bachchan: Family Was Upset On Her Birth.. But Now She Is Famous

Asha Negi revealed that her family was not happy at her birth

Asha Negi, after many years in the industry, shared shocking details about her life. She revealed that her family was left upset about her birth as they were hoping to get a son. Sharing more details on the same, Asha shared with Hautterfly that she was a late-born. Her parents tried for another child after their son, who was just eleven years old, passed away. 

Asha Negi's sister had thrown out God's idol on her birth

The tragedy left a deep impact on the entire family, especially Asha's elder sisters. They thought of trying for another child, in the hope of getting blessed with a boy, but destiny had other plans for the Negi family as they got blessed with Asha. The actress revealed another shocking detail of her sister throwing out their God's idol as they wanted a brother. She said:

"I was a late born. My parents had my eldest sister, then a son, and then another sister. My brother passed away at 11. I don’t have an emotional connection to him because I wasn’t there. After that loss, my parents decided to try again, and here I am. My sister even threw the family’s God idol out of the house because she wanted a brother!"

Asha Negi's was crowned as Miss Dehradun before beginning her acting career

Asha Negi was born and brought up in the hills of Dehradun. Her journey to the glamour world started after she won the title of Miss Uttrakhand. Growing up in the mountains made her believe in herself and dream big. Soon, she shifted her base to Mumbai to try her hand at modelling. While working as a model, she got her first show, Sapno Se Bhare Naina. But it was Pavitra Rishta who gave her success in the role of 'Poorvi Deshmukh'.
