Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor has been grabbing attention for his role as an antagonist in Singham Again. Before this, he was in the headlines for ending his long-term relationship with Malaika Arora. Amidst all these, Arjun recently opened up about his bond with his half-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. And let’s just say, it’s the wholesome sibling content we all needed to hear.
Arjun Kapoor recently sat for a candid conversation with Galatta India, reflecting on how his relationship with Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor blossomed over the years. After the tragic passing of his step-mom and the legendary actress, Sridevi, the siblings grew closer to each other. While their initial connection came under what he described as ‘unfortunate’ circumstances, Arjun said the three of them have grown to be each other’s pillars of strength. Arjun also recalled how Khushi Kapoor went to watch his film, Singham Again, without him even asking, showing just how much she cares for her brother. The Singham Again actor shared:

“It has been special. It’s unfortunate the way it happened. I wouldn’t wish it for my worst enemy. But having said that, today, we have been each other’s strength. Any good moment in my life is incomplete without Janhvi and Khushi.”
During the conversation, Arjun Kapoor also admitted that while he’s often perceived as the ‘protective older brother,’ the bond he shares with Janhvi and Khushi is far more mutual. He said:
“They both have been really solid behind me and I know it sounds like I am the brother who is taking care of them and all that. It’s not always like that. There are moments where you are also vulnerable. Janhvi has seen that vulnerable side of me.”
Arjun also opened up about all the negativity and struggles he faced in the industry, especially when the negative aspects became overwhelming. Reflecting on how Janhvi and Khushi have stood like pillars of support, Arjun shared:
"You question life, you question choices, you question, ‘Is it all worth it?’, you question, ‘What will happen?’, because you have to realise that negativity is a constant in our profession. It’s just that the volume of it sometimes reaches a point where your head just wants to explode… She (Janhvi) has seen that side, she has felt it. And I think both of them are just happy for me… I am better off for having Janhvi and Khushi in my life. I love them a lot. I care for them a lot and I am so glad that they are doing well and I am happy to say that they are very well brought up kids.”
Arjun Kapoor and his sister, Anshula are the offspring of Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona Kapoor. Janhvi and Khushi, on the other hand, are Boney’s daughters with the late Sridevi. Despite their blended family dynamics, it’s evident that the Kapoor siblings share a deep and meaningful connection.
