Amid such confusion, a media portal decided to get in touch with Arjun Kapoor to get a confirmation on DeepVeer’s wedding.

We all know that Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are like brothers from different mothers. Their superb and powerhouse camaraderie always makes us go ROFL. But it seems that even Arjun has mastered the skills of dodging the questions about his ‘baba’s’ wedding. Arjun jokingly said, “I don’t know about that Baba (Ranveer) and I don’t know about this Baba (referring to himself). I think Baba and Baba are married to each other (laughs). Hum dono ki shaadi ho chuki hai”.
Well, that’s all Arjun Kapoor opened up about 'baba' Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding. Recent reports have been suggesting that their wedding would be delayed and shall take place in Jan-Feb 2019. Earlier, Filmfare had reported about the wedding, giving the date and venue, “The maximum time was taken to decide the date. Both Ranveer and Deepika want everything about their marriage to be perfect. November 10th suited their calendars as well as their parents. The roka was done long back and the wedding date was finalised just a few weeks ago”.
The report further added, “Preparations are in full swing from both sides. Ladies have begun the wedding shopping. Ranveer is extremely excited about the wedding and is evidently on cloud nine with both his professional and personal life being on a high”. Another report in Filmfare had confirmed the venue and stated, “Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalised Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place”. In an earlier interview with film critic, Rajeev Masand, Deepika herself opened up about her wedding and said, “When it is time, I’ll know that it is the right time. I think as an institution, it is extremely important. That’s the way I have been brought up. It is extremely important for me to see myself like that. It is every girl’s dream. I have always followed my instinct and I know that I will feel it when I am ready and when it’s meant to happen”.
Ranveer, on the other hand, completely downplayed these wedding reports and said to India Today, “These are things I think about. I try to create a life and work balance. As much as I am consumed by my work at the moment, these things (marriage) are on my mind. But nothing decisive as of now”.
Talking about her love for Ranveer, Deepika had shared in a media interview earlier “He is my best friend (and this is not to be taken lightly). I am emotional, sensitive and vulnerable and I hurt easily. I can be so naked in front of Ranveer and I know he will never hurt me or take me for granted. That is the kind of trust and understanding we have. The reason I love and respect him is that I can bare my soul and still feel comfortable. If this is a divine connection - this is what it is!”
And last year, in 2017, talking about her beau, the Padmaavat actress was beautifully quoted as saying, “When we're with each other, we don't need anything or anyone else. We're comfortable in each other's presence. Sometimes it's an intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there's a childlike innocence. We keep each other grounded. We are good in that sense”. (You May Like: Anita Hassanandani Finally Reveals When She And Hubby Rohit Reddy Will Plan For A Baby)
