Apoorva Mukhija, also known as 'The Rebel Kid', has been in the middle of controversies since her appearance on India's Got Latent wreaked havoc. The influencer took a break from social media but found herself in another controversy when she attended the Sabrina Carpenter's concert in Paris. Yet again, she deleted all her Instagram posts, but now she is back and claims she is here to stay.
After being away for quite some time, Apoorva Mukhija uploaded a clarification video to her YouTube channel. The influencer not only talked about India's Got Latent controversy, but she also addressed the aftermath of it, all, her trip to Paris, and the viral video of her from Sabrina Carpenter's concert. However, that was not all, she also shared her story with her fans.
Apoorva's latest video, titled 'Till I Say It Is', reveals details of her world before she became the influencer we know her as. Apoorva Mukhija, in the video, shared about her past experiences and recalled how, for seventeen years, she lived in a house that never felt like home. She reflected on the sleepless nights she spent crying and the scars that her past had left behind. She revealed that back then, she thought that it was over and stated:
"A lot of times in life, people are going to tell you it's over. I used to live in a house that never felt like home for 17 years. I have cried a lot of sleepless nights in that house, I have self-harmed, and I still have the scars, and back then, every day I used to think that it's over."
In the same video, Apoorva Mukhija recalled being in love with a man who promised to love her. She revealed that she thought he would marry her, till one day he hit her. She shared how people called her names before she even understood what those terms meant. The influencer also addressed the threats and how she felt that it was over then but wasn't. She was quoted as saying:
"I fell in love with a man who promised to love me, protect me, and marry me, and then one day he hit me. And that day, I thought it was over. I was slut-shamed by my relatives before I got to know what that word even meant. I have been talked about, conspired and punished for things I never did, and I thought it was over. I have been the laughingstock, punching bag, and that girl who could be raped and then thrown acid on if they saw her alive, and I really thought it was over. But it isn't."
In the same video, she talked about the India's Got Latent controversy. She revealed how her parents had to face the repercussions of the criticism and threats. She reflected on her trip to Paris. She apologised for her remarks on the show and promised to be careful about it in the future. Aproorva concluded the video by stating:
