From the very beginning, Anushka Sharma has been committed to shielding her personal life from the media glare. However, it was her deep commitment to her children's well-being that prompted her to ask the paparazzi not to take photographs of them. Anushka's desire to give her children a normal childhood, free from the label of 'star kids ', was evident when she chose to deliver her second child, Akaay Kohli, in London.
On August 19, 2024, Anushka Sharma took to her IG stories and shared a snap of her children's first rakhi celebration. The actress made sure not to reveal her kids' face, so she shared a photo featuring two unique knitted rakhis. The rakhis were shaped like cars and had tied-up details on the strings on the sides and had black and white buttons and googly eyes on top. While one of them was in green colour, the other one was orange. The actress wrote, "Happy Raksha Bandhan," and added two pink heart emojis atop of the picture.

On August 8, 2024, Anushka took to her Instagram stories to share a sweet glimpse of her day with her kids. The photo she posted featured a delightful array of homemade ice lollies, each with a unique flavour. From the classic strawberry and milk to the more exotic blueberry, the variety added a fun twist to the day. The photo also revealed Akaay's evening snack, a healthy plate of sliced carrots and cucumber.
Earlier, a heartwarming video of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma surfaced on one of his fan pages. The couple was seen stepping out in London to buy flowers, with Virat tenderly holding their baby boy, Akaay, in his arms. This marked the little one's first-ever public appearance, and he looked absolutely adorable in a black onesie. Anushka, in a white top and denim shorts, and Virat, in a beige T-shirt and white pants, were visibly proud of their little one.

Anushka and Virat's love story began on the set of an advertisement shoot around 2013.
