From being each other's biggest cheerleaders to spiritual tours and lavish vacations, Anushka and Virat are living the dream life. However, a recent video has the netizens dismayed.

A video was shared by Filmfare's official Instagram handle on the morning of May 8, 2025. The video showed Virat Kohli standing outside a car, donning a white t-shirt, black joggers and white sneakers. He offered his hand to his wife, Anushka Sharma, as she was getting out of the vehicle. However, she didn't take his hand and moved past him. Anushka was donned in a beige jumpsuit and carried a black bag with her. While there could have been several reasons why she didn't take Virat's hand, netizens seem to be careless about the matter and more about the lack of privacy given to the couple.

As soon as the video was shared on the social media platform, Instagram, netizens started chiming in to share their opinion. A user penned, "You guys have no other work to do, ah? She is not holding his hand? That's their problem. Simply don't create a statement that will cause chaos." Another wrote, "And people ask why he wanna shift to London with his family. They can't go to a single place without being followed by the media and fans. Anything they do is taken out of context and becomes breaking news. Just leave them alone." A comment read, "She is holding the bag, and maybe they had a small fight, which is common in couples.. why make hue and cry for nothing."

A user penned, "They’re married. He pissed her off. Story over!" A user cited that Anushka might be upset about Virat accidentally liking Avneet's post on Instagram a few days ago and wrote, "Bhabhi abhi bhi naaraz hai. Virat be like accidentally like ho gaya tha, fir, unlike bhi toh kardiya." While others blamed the evil eye for it and wrote, "Aur lagwao nazar."

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's decision to move bases to London

It was Madhuri Dixit's husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, who, during a chat with Ranveer Allahbadia, shared about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's decision to move. Dr. Shriram Nene said that he had a conversation with Anushka one day, and she revealed that she and her husband can't enjoy their success here. Dr. Shriram Nene added that anything they do attracts the audience, and celebrities end up being isolated. The incident further justified why the couple had decided to move away from their homeland. In Dr. Shriram Nene's words:

"I'll tell you something, and this is what you learn, they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting. They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). And we appreciate what they go through, because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated."
