Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone are two of the most famous actresses in Bollywood. While Deepika made her debut back in 2007, Anushka began her acting career one year later in 2008. In Bollywood, there's a term that is often used with contemporary actresses, which is 'catfight'. Well, Anushka and Deepika had been dropped under that category and people would often wonder if there was any cold war that had been going on between these two beauties of Bollywood. Anushka once reacted to all the gossip about her and Deepika.
Recently, we came across a video from the actresses' round table, which was attended by Richa Chadha, Deepika Padukone, and Anushka Sharma. In the video, Anusha explained why it gets awkward when she meets Deepika. Sharing the reason, Anushka stated that as per the gossip, she and Deepika are supposed to fight with each other. She also addressed the rumours about her and Deepika not getting along with each other.

Talking on the same lines, Anushka Sharma replied that she and Deepika came from the same city, and they even studied in the same college, Mount Carmel College. Anushka further added that she and Deepika shared a history, and there's absolutely nothing to not get along with. Talking more about it, Anushka revealed how, because of this much gossip, it really gets awkward when the two actresses meet in person.

In an old interview, Anushka Sharma was asked by a journalist why she hasn't been stirred up in the industry like Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. To this, Anushka added that she has delivered three back-to-back hit films and is known for her talent. Taking a slight dig at Deepika and Sonam, Anushka stated that she doesn't know why she's not as hyped as the other two actresses, but she's actually happy that she is known for her talents and not for her clothes and controversies.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Anushka Sharma was asked about the 'cold war' buzz between her and Deepika. To this, the actress said that she's in the industry to work, and not to fight with anybody. The actress further mentioned that all the reports about her and Deepika are actually false and they are happy with their respective careers. She also remarked that it's wrong how women are perceived in the industry.

And soon after that, reports made rounds on social media that Ranveer and Anushka might have been dating one another.
