Married to Virat Kohli, the couple has opted for a strict no-picture policy for their kids, and has requested the paparazzi not to click their photos. Moreover, what comes across as an incredible choice is the manner in which Anushka and Virat attempt to raise their children in a safe, holistic and natural space, where they can learn and grow without the worry of becoming the subject of constant limelight.
Recently, Anushka Sharma’s dearest friend and entrepreneur, Naimeesha Murthy took to her IG handle and dropped a clip from her day out with the actress in New York. The two BFFs were seen exploring an ice-cream museum in the city, while Anushka was seen relishing a popsicle. As the video opens, the actress can be seen entering the venue, clad in a white shirt and a pair of denims. We also caught hold of a partial glimpse of Anushka’s daughter, Vamika, who held her mommy’s hands to climb a fleet of stairs in the museum. In yet another glimpse, Anushka could be seen clicking a picture of a scrabble wall, wherein she had spelled out her daughter, Vamika’s name.

A few days back, we caught hold of another leaked glimpse of the power couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Clicked by a fan from afar, the duo could be seen holding the hands of their daughter, Vamika, who walked between them. The adorable parents seemed to be in a mood to explore the lanes of New York with their baby girl. While none of their faces were clearly visible, their sheer love for one another was nonetheless reflected in their demeanour.
For the unversed, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are extremely protective about their children and as a result, despite being A-listed celebrities, the duo has maintained a strict no-picture policy for their kids. On May 14, 2024, Anushka and Virat handed out expensive gift hampers to the paparazzi, as a mark of honouring the parents’ request for not clicking pictures of their children. Along with them, the duo even dropped a note, which read as:
“We sincerely thank you for respecting the privacy of our children and for your unwavering cooperation.”

Previously, post a match in the IPL 2024, Virat Kohli opened up about his decision to take a paternity break before the birth of his and Anushka Sharma’s son, Akaay. The doting father mentioned how he wished for some time to settle down within the family dynamics after having two children. In his words:
“Of course, having two kids, things become totally different from a family perspective. So just the ability to be together, the connections that you make with your older child, it’s amazing. I mean, I couldn’t have been more grateful to God for the opportunity that I got to spend time with my family.”
