Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma exchanged the marital vows in Borgo Finocchieto, Italy on December 11, 2017, and officially announced it on social media after becoming husband and wife. Their secret wedding was an intimate affair and Virushka have been giving some major goals ever since their wedding. A few months before their wedding, Virat and Anushka took their ‘saat vachans’ which every guy and girl could relate to in the 21st century. In the video, when Virat and Anushka in a mock-solemn role play narrate vows all the while uttering a different promise to each other, it came as a meaningful conversation between a couple in the times of Tinder swiping and fleeting attention spans. Time flies and like how! On December 11, 2018, our IT couple of B-town will complete their one year of marriage. With their subtle PDA, Virat and Anushka always manage to make our heart skip a beat. Virat and Anushka released a sequel to their above-mentioned video and it has them renewing their ‘saat vachans’! As the video begins, Virat and Anushka warn their soon-to-be-married friends about how everything changes after the ‘I do’ bit is done.
As Anushka said to her bride friend, “He will promise to cook 15 days a month but will order food when his turn comes”, Virat tells the groom how he will lose “TV remote, AC remote and life ka remote.” In the end, they conclude by switching on to the silver lining with the cloud. After their wedding on December 11, 2017, Virat and Anushka announced it on Twitter and wrote, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”
Speaking about his life with Anushka and how he foresees the future with her, Virat said during an interaction with the ESPN, “Everything in life is transient. It will end one day. I have a life. I have a family. I will have kids. They deserve all my time. That is something that is very, very clear and close to my heart. I want no part of my career being flashed into my house. I want no part of my trophies, my achievements, nothing in my house when our kids are growing up”.
Also, Virat has been all praises for his wife, Anushka and gave the sweetest message to his wedding cinematographer that stated, “She guides me even when her body is not with me. Her words are. Her strength is. That is love. That is when you’ll know.”
In one of the promotional sessions for her film, Sui Dhaaga with Film Companion, Anushka Sharma had the sweetest words for hubby, Virat when she said, “I am married to the greatest man in the world.” On November 5, 2018, Virat celebrated his first birthday after marriage, and Anushka posted a lovely wish for the love of her life.
