Billionaire, Gautam Adani's son, Jeet Adani recently boarded the marriage wagon as he tied the knot with Diva Jaimin Shah on February 7, 2025. The wedding was unique with its vibrant decor and unique themes. Moreover, despite being one of the richest families in India, Jeet Adani's wedding was not an overtly extravagant affair, as his father, Gautam had confirmed earlier at the Maha Kumbh. While gifts keep on showering over the newlyweds, Shaadi.com CEO, Anupam Mittal had a unique gift planned for the couple.

Anupam Mittal deletes Jeet Adani's Shaadi.com profile

On February 8, 2024, Anupam Mittal took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to present a unique gift to Jeet Adani and Diva Shah: he deleted Jeet's profile from Shaadi.com. To give you a little backstory, before stepping into married life, Jeet had one amusing request—to have his long-forgotten Shaadi.com profile removed. The request, made to Shaadi.com founder and Shark Tank India judge, Anupam Mittal, actually stemmed from a childhood prank his friends played on him. Using his usual wit, Anupam found the perfect gift. His X post read:

"As promised, here’s a small wedding gift from me to you & Diva @jeet_adani1. We have had ur profile deleted from @ShaadiDotCom now that u have confirmed ur participation in @sharktankindia"

How Jeet Adani’s Shaadi.com profile came to be

Coming to the history of Jeet Adani's Shaadi.com profile, it was actually created as a prank when he was in middle school. During a candid conversation on Shark Tank India 4’s Beyond The Tank segment, Jeet revealed that his friends had mischievously created a profile for him on Shaadi.com when they were in middle school. He told Anupam Mittal:

“In middle school, in 8th or 7th grade, you know how boys are… they are messing around and pranking each other. So one of my friends has… if you go on your website, there is a profile called ‘Jeet Adani’ set up. I have no idea whose email [has been used], or who has the phone number. I have been trying my level best Ke Nikalo please Nikalo, Meri Shaadi Ho Rahi Hai, Aapka Shaadi.com pe profile hai. So, that is my request to you.”

In response to Jeet's request, Anupam teased him by saying that Jeet had probably created the profile himself back then and later put the blame on his friends. He was heard saying:

"I’ll delete the profile, but let’s be honest—sounds like you made it yourself and are now blaming your friends! You were lucky to find Divaji but just forgot to remove the profile. And now, you’re asking me to do it on TV!"
