Dubai-based travel influencer and photographer, Anunay Sood, left the entire country in shock after his family announced the heartbreaking news of his demise. He had a massive following on social media with 1.4 million followers on Instagram alone. He would often share updates about his trips around the world with his fanbase. However, unfortunately, his journey was cut short, and the influencer passed away. The news of his death sent shockwaves online, with fans wondering what had happened to the young content creator.

Las Vegas police share an update on Anunay Sood's death

Anunay Sood's death made shockwaves online on November 6, 2025, after his family shared the tragic news with his fans. However, the family has not shared the cause of death yet, and is now in a conversation with HT.com. The Las Vegas Police Department has shared an update. The LVPD revealed that it was on November 4, 2025 (ET) when they received a call about a dead body. In a statement to the publication, the LVPD stated:

"On November 4, 2025, LVMPD responded to a dead body located in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Officers assisted the coroner and took a non-criminal/medical report."

While the police representative shared that the coroner has taken the report, there hasn't been any other update from the police or the coroner's office. The cause of death remains unknown. His family and friends have requested privacy as they mourn his loss and have appealed to his followers to refrain from visiting or gathering near his residence.

Anunay Sood's girlfriend penned a heartbreaking note

Apart from Anunay Sood's family, his friend and girlfriend have also penned heartfelt notes in his memory. Hours after Anunay Sood’s death news made headlines, his girlfriend, Shivani Parihar, took to her Instagram stories and penned an emotional note for Anunay. Shivani shared a cute picture of the duo and expressed her heartbreak over the incident. 

Sharing a romantic picture with him, resting her head on his shoulder, Shivani revealed how she still couldn’t process the news of his untimely death. An excerpt of her note could be read as:

"I still can’t believe you are gone. My heart feels so heavy, and everything around me just feels empty. You were my person, my safe place, my life, my everything. I don’t even know how to process this-it doesn’t feel real. Every little thing reminds me of you – your laugh, your voice, your messages. I don’t know how to move forward without you."

He was popular for his travel photos, reels videos, and vlogs. The content creator rose to fame for his detailed vlogs, which captured the essence of the places he visited. Anunay Sood has been featured on Forbes India's Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. The Forbes bio describes Anunay Sood as a Dubai-based photographer who began documenting his travels on Instagram.
