He had recently been featured in Forbes India's Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years (2022-2024). Anunay's love for travelling brought him close to Brinda Sharma, who eventually became his fiancée. Following his demise, details of their relationship and split have resurfaced.

How did Anunay Sood and Brinda Sharma's love story start?

According to Redditors, Anunay Sood was already an established travel vlogger when he crossed paths with Brinda Sharma. She wasn't into content creation; instead, she had a different career path. The two of them connected through their shared love for the mountains around 2018-19 (the exact date is not known). Anunay got Brinda into travel content creation, and they started visiting distant lands together, making joint videos for platforms like YouTube and Instagram. Both of them now enjoy millions of followers on their respective social media accounts.

He shared the proposal video with his followers in February 2022. According to Redditors, the engagement took place a year before Anunay dropped the video. The romantic proposal took place amid snow-clad mountains, as a nod to the point of connection between the ex-couple.

Anunay and Brinda called off their engagement after about three years. They remained friends following an amicable split, as shared by Anunay. Their breakup was long speculated by their fans due to their lack of joint content on social media and their skipping each other's birthday posts. Confirming the rumours, Anunay made a Q&A video in June 2024, revealing details about their split. Anunay mentioned that his and Brinda's relationship was not all roses and sunshine, and they had their fair share of issues.
