It was Anunay’s family who broke the news of their 32-year-old son’s untimely death on social media. And since then, many renowned creators have been mourning the loss and penning heartfelt notes in his memory.

Many Redditors point out that the influencer met with a car accident, while others revealed that he committed suicide. However, various reports also claim that Anunay had a cardiac arrest and passed away in sleep.

A fellow food blogger and Anunay’s friend, Sarah Hussain, too recalled some past memories with Anunay. In one of the videos Sarah posted, she mentioned having fond memories with him and penned an emotional note, in which she recalled some of the best moments she shared with Anunay. She also revealed how he helped her pick the perfect ring for her wedding and ended her note with a ‘sorry’. In another post, she wrote that she wished she had spoken to him for the last time.

Anunay Sood’s girlfriend penned a heart-wrenching note after his death

Hours after Anunay Sood’s death, his girlfriend, Shivani Parihar, took to her Instagram stories and penned an emotional note for Anunay. Sharing a romantic picture with him, resting her head on his shoulder, Shivani revealed how she still couldn’t process the news of his untimely death. An excerpt of her note could be read as:

“I still can’t believe you are gone. My heart feels so heavy, and everything around me just feels empty. You were my person, my safe place, my life, my everything. I don’t even know how to process this-it doesn’t feel real. Every little thing reminds me of you – your laugh, your voice, your messages. I don’t know how to move forward without you.”

Anunay Sood was one of the most beloved content creators and enjoyed a massive Instagram following of 1.4 million. He always documented his travel vlogs through Reels and posts, which got him widespread recognition, including being named among Forbes India's Top 100 Digital Stars for three consecutive years, from 2022 to 2024. He also won the Travel Influencer of the Year title. He also partnered with international tourism boards and lifestyle brands.
