The Kapoor khandaan held a get-together on October 2, 2025, for the Gor Dhana ceremony of their beloved daughter, Anshula Kapoor. Indeed! It's their ghar ki pehli shadi, and Anshula had shared snaps from her Gor Dhana ceremony with her fiance, Rohan Thakkar. Anshula missed her mom, the late Mona Shourie Kapoor, on her special day, but she ensured that the most special words used by her maa were carried by Anshula on that day.

For the uninitiated, Gor Dhana is a Gujarati pre-wedding ritual akin to an engagement ceremony. Anshula paid the most emotional tribute to her mom while sharing the most important moment of her life with Rohan. A while back, Anshula took to her Instagram handle to share a video where on the back side of her blouse, she kept her mom's presence and weaved the most used words by her, which were 'Rab Rakha' in her ethereal bridal choli. Remembering her maa, Anshula wrote:

"She always said, “Rab raakha.” So I’ve carried it with me into this new chapter - stitched gently on my back, tucked safely in my heart. A reminder that she’s still here, still watching, still my forever protector. My Maa. Thank you @arpita_mehta for making sure these weren’t just words on fabric, but feelings woven into every thread. A promise. A prayer. A piece of her with me."

Anshula already posted her Gor Dhana snaps that had her dad, Boney Kapoor, brother, Arjun Kapoor, along with her stepsisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Seeing Anshula remember the phrase her maa used to use on her, a user penned, "You remind me so much of your mom the day she got engaged. Stay blessed sweetie.
