Ankita Lokhande Slams Rozlyn Khan For 'Cheap' Comments On Hina Khan's Cancer: 'How Could Someone...'

Television and entertainment fans were recently shocked by actress, Rozlyn Khan’s shocking allegations against Hina Khan, who is battling stage 3 breast cancer. Rozlyn, who herself is a stage 4 cancer survivor, accused Hina of faking her diagnosis for publicity. She even went as far as claiming that Hina had bribed doctors to hide the truth, questioning how the actress could continue working, travelling, and hitting the gym while undergoing cancer treatment.

Ankita Lokhande comes to Hina Khan’s defence

A few days ago, Rozlyn Khan called out Hina Khan, claiming that though she might actually have cancer, she exaggerated her experience. She even claimed that the Griha Lakshmi actress was lying about her treatment, challenging her to share her medical reports on social media. Amid the backlash, Ankita Lokhande came forward in support of Hina Khan, calling Rozlyn’s accusations ‘cheap’. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Ankita wrote:

"How could someone think so low my goodness... That's so cheap !! For ur kind information madam, this girl Hina is fighting the cancer with such bravery and I'm saying because I know that and Vikki met her few days back in the hospital where she was taking her chemotherapy where Rocky was with her and literally Vikki said this to me that he was in tears to see her !! Hina u r strong and our sherkhan. And not easy for u or anyone who's facing this !! God bless u girl This shall too pass @realhinakhan.”

Shraddha Arya’s support for Hina Khan

Not only Ankita, but a large part of the TV fraternity backed Hina Khan after Rozlyn’s controversial remarks. Earlier, actress Shraddha Arya also extended her support for Hina. The actress strongly reacted to Rozlyn’s comments, criticising her for trivialising someone’s battle with the deadly disease. Taking to her IG, Shraddha wrote:

"How can someone be so petty in their thinking? Instead of wishing well for this brave girl, you're making fun of her situation. I hope she never sees this video."

Rozlyn Khan’s comments on Hina Khan’s cancer battle

Rozlyn Khan is herself a cancer survivor who survived stage 4 cancer. A few days ago, Rozlyn appeared for a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, straight up slamming Hina Khan for having an inconsistent narrative about her treatment. She also accused Hina of exaggerating her narrative to grab headlines, while she continued to travel during chemotherapy, which is against cancer protocols. At one point, Rozlyn accused Hina of lying and challenged her to show her medical reports. She remarked:

“Till date, she is hiding her baldness. Why? Isn’t she brave enough to show her shaved head?… It’s only about being brave and being sherni? If she is at stage 3, she must go for radiation..! She is keeping everyone in dark because she knows that knowledgeable people will catch her lies as there are standard rules for each stage of breast cancer treatment. I challenge her to post her report on Instagram if she really wants to talk about cancer and its treatment to inspire others. It’s just PR activities to keep her in the news for humdardi!”
