With every other day comes some new twists and turns in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Suicide, depression, murder, drugs, claustrophobia, every aspect has come out in open and as the interrogations are going on, we wonder what more is there to come. However, despite all, Ankita has been defending Sushant, talking highly about how great a person he was. Now, Ankita has taken to her IG handle to share a video of SSR quashing the claims of Sushant being claustrophobic made by Rhea Chakraborty. In the video, we can see Sushant sitting at pilot’s place and taking off a plane with some guidance. Ankita questioned people if this is what being claustrophobic means and also mentioned how SSR had always wanted to fly and he had made it come true. Her caption can be read as “Dream. Is this #claustrophobia? u always wanted to fly and u did it.” Take a look:
Ankita and Sushant had dated for six years, and the ex-lovers had a strong connection. Even after the breakup, Sushant had always wished well for Ankita and vice versa. And that's the reason why Ankita is devastated after the untimely demise of Sushant. After the late actor's family had filed an FIR against Rhea, Ankita had shared a cryptic post on her IG handle. She had posted a picture which could be read as "Truth Wins". Sushant's sister, Shweta Singh Kriti had also commented on it and had written, "God is always with the truth". Ankita has been fighting the battle of #justiceforsushant from the forefront. After more than a month of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Ankita Lokhande had broken her silence in his suicide case. The nation was waiting for Ankita to speak up and in an interview to Republic TV, Ankita had presented her take on the theories of Sushant being in depression, saying that he was not a depressed guy, he was a hero and an inspiration. She had said, “He found happiness in small things. He wanted to do farming, I know this for sure... he told me agar kuch nai hua to main apni short film bana lunga (if nothing else works out, I will make a short film). He was not a depressed guy, not at all. I don’t know what the situation was... but I will keep repeating this. I don’t want people to remember him as a depressed guy, he was a hero. He was an inspiration.”

Ankita had also expressed her disappointment over how the narrative around Sushant's demise was being constructed and shown to be a suicide case. She was quoted as saying, "It's a very wrong word to use for Sushant. Again I want to say this, I have seen this man working so hard for himself. He used to do theatre first, then plays, then he used to do serials. He was one for the biggest stars on TV. He left Pavitra Rishta right when it was on its peak. TV is a big industry and he left it when he was the biggest. He left it because he wanted to do something else. He tried films, he got into films. After all this, people are saying he was depressed? He waited for 3 years for a break in films. I told him to leave Pavitra Rishta, just give time to yourself. He waited for that one break for three years. Everyone doesn't have this patience but he waited for three years." (Recommended Read: Tamannaah Bhatia Reveals Her Parents Tests Positive For COVID-19, Requests Fans To Pray For Them)
