Ankita Lokhande Breaks Silence, Says Sushant Can't Be Depressed To Take His Life [Details Inside]

With an FIR filed against Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, a lot of new aspects in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case are unfolding now. From the money transactions done from SSR’s account to his sister, Mita accusing Rhea of doing black magic, every other day comes with some new developments. While the nation is finding it hard to believe that Sushant could take his own life, his ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande holds a similar opinion. Ankita and Sushant had dated for six years, and the ex-lovers had a strong connection. Even after the breakup, Sushant had always wished well for Ankita and vice versa. And that's the reason why Ankita has been devastated after the untimely demise of Sushant. After the late actor's family had filed an FIR against Rhea, Ankita had shared a cryptic post on her IG handle. She had posted a picture which could be read as "Truth Wins". Sushant's sister, Shweta Singh Kriti had also commented on it and had written, "God is always with the truth".

Now, after more than a month of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his ex-Ankita Lokhande has finally broken her silence in his suicide case. The nation was waiting for Ankita to speak up and in an interview to Republic TV, Ankita has said that Sushant could not have been ‘depressed’. She said, “Sushant was not the guy who could commit suicide. We have seen worse situations when we were together. He was a happy-go-lucky guy.”

Ankita also talked about how Sushant had come from a small town to conquer the world and he had established himself on his own. She added, “The Sushant that I know — he came from a small town. He established himself on his own. He has taught me so many things, he taught me acting. Kisi ko pata bhi hai Sushant kaun aur kya tha (does anybody even know who the real Sushant was)? Everyone is writing their own portrayal of how ‘depressed’ he was, it hurts reading all of this.” (Don't Miss: Smriti Irani Shares A Throwback Picture From Her Modelling Days Found By Her Mother)

Ankita then concluded her take on the theories of Sushant being in depression, saying that he was not a depressed guy, he was a hero and an inspiration. She said, “He found happiness in small things. He wanted to do farming, I know this for sure... he told me agar kuch nai hua to main apni short film bana lunga (if nothing else works out, I will make a short film). He was not a depressed guy, not at all. I don’t know what the situation was... but I will keep repeating this. I don’t want people to remember him as a depressed guy, he was a hero. He was an inspiration.”

In the interview, Ankita was further asked if all Sushant's wealth is gone, do you think he would kill himself? To which, Ankita replied, "I want to tell you this. Money was a small thing for Sushant passion was bigger. He used to always tell me even if everything is over I will build my empire again, I will work hard once again. He was passionate about work but more passionate about life. He used to do everything with passion. He was first a background dancer with Shiamak. He always used to say, 'Success aur failure ke beech line hoti hai, Dhoni was like that and I want to be like that.' He used to say when there was a failure Dhoni is calm and if anything is good he still used to be calm. He said if there was a failure he will bounce back. He used to find happiness in small things. He used to provide education to kids, stargaze, this was his happiness. But he cannot die for this. He cannot die for this."

Ankita also expressed her disappointment over how the narrative around Sushant's demise is being constructed and shown to be a suicide case. She was quoted as saying, "It's a very wrong word to use for Sushant. Again I want to say this, I have seen this man working so hard for himself. He used to do theatre first, then plays, then he used to do serials. He was one for the biggest stars on TV. He left Pavitra Rishta right when it was on its peak. TV is a big industry and he left it when he was the biggest. He left it because he wanted to do something else. He tried films, he got into films. After all this, people are saying he was depressed? He waited for 3 years for a break in films. I told him to leave Pavitra Rishta, just give time to yourself. He waited for that one break for three years. Everyone doesn't have this patience but he waited for three years." (Recommended Read: Manish Raisinghan And Sangeita Chauhaan Complete One Month Of Marriage, Share Candid Romantic Pics)
