Once upon a time, in the world of television, we had a much-in-love couple who have given major #CoupleGoals with their off-screen chemistry and love which proved that a rishta can be as pavitra as theirs. They became household names as Manav and Archana from Pavitra Rishta, and fans had rooted for them to be a couple in real life too. Fortunately, their wishes were granted and Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande had confirmed their relationship. When their fans were expecting to hear the wedding bells for their favourite Pavitra Rishta couple, Sushant and Ankita had announced that they had parted ways, leaving everyone shattered. Period!!” are the tweets that had come as a shock for Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans, which were cited as confirmations of their split. The fans were heartbroken seeing Manav-Archana drift apart in real-life. Ankita had moved on in her life and is now in a happy relationship with a businessman, Vicky Jain. It was Sushant’s unfortunate demise, which brought their relationship back in the limelight as, since June, Ankita has been a constant pillar of strength for his family in the fight for justice and unravel the mystery behind his sudden death.
Back in 2016, after Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput had parted ways, the former was questioned by the netizens for celebrating Karwa Chauth. Ankita and Sushant had ended their six years of relationship and considering that Karwa Chauth had taken place a few months post their breakup; the actress was judged for putting up a festival special post. Dressed in a beautiful saree with gold jewellery and gajra accentuating her look, Ankita had captioned her post as “Wishing everyone a very happy karwa Chauth.” Passing the judgements, netizens had commented on the lines, "Sushant toh ab hai nahi toh phir kiske liye fast?" Ankita had not paid any heed to the negativity around her regarding this post and maintained her silence, celebrating the festival with happiness. Ankita’s father had commented on the post, "Very sweet my Bacche", shutting down the trolls passing their unwanted judgements. Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his close friend, Vikas Gupta had posted a throwback picture with Sushant, Ankita Lonkhande, Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora, and had penned an emotional note remembering his 'carefree and tension-free' friend. Ankita Lokhande found love in the co-owner of the Mumbai team of the Box Cricket League, Vicky Jain, whom she had met through common friends. Ankita and Vicky eventually became friends and started hanging out with each other. A few days ago, Ankita had penned a note not only to express her love for Vicky, but as an apology to him for the "criticism" that he faces as a consequence of being with a public figure like her. Ankita had written, “I can’t find the words to describe my feelings for you. One thing which come in my mind when I see us together is I’m grateful to god for sending u in my life as a friend, partner and as soul mate. Thanku for being someone who was always there for me. Thanks for making all my problems as yours and helping me whenever I needed you. Thank you for being my support system. Most important thanku for understanding me and my situations. And I am sorry because of me u hv to face criticism which u don’t deserve at all. Words fall short but this bond is amazing.
