It is the 10-day festival of Ganesh Chaturthi that brings Mumbai to life, and to add glitz and glamour touch to the festivities, B-town and telly world celebs leave no stone unturned. While every year the vibrancy and vigour of the celebrations had swooned us in wonderment, this year has been slightly different due to the ongoing pandemic. While the fervour remains the same, the large-scale celebrations are replaced with the small intimate ones at home. But still, Ganesh Chaturthi 2020 holds a special significance for everyone and for Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya, the festivities are memorable because it is the first time, they had brought Ganpati Bappa home. It was in February 2020 when Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya had moved into their new home in Lokhandwala. As per a SpotboyE report, Divyanka and Vivek had moved into their new abode on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri and had hosted a griha pravesh puja in the presence of their families and close relatives. So, Ganesh Chaturthi 2020 became even more special for Divyanka and Vivek as they had welcomed Lord Ganpati at their home for the first time. Their excitement and happiness know no bounds as they are grooving on the song, Boss Ganpati Mix. Here’s the video of DiVek's dance:

On August 23, 2020, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had posted twinning pictures with Vivek Dahiya for the Ganesh Chaturthi puja. Divyanka and Vivek couldn’t stop beaming with happiness as they posed holding each other’s hands. Wishing everyone on Ganesh Chaturthi, Divyanka had written, “They say He comes to you when He wants to. He finds a way. Our Ganu was love at first sight. Stayed with us only a short while giving us positivity and peace for the times to come. Ganpati bappa morya! #EcofriendlyGanpati #DiveksFirst.” However, it was Divyanka’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star, Karan Patel’s actor-wife, Ankita Bhargava’s comment that caught out attention. Karan and Ankita had embraced parenthood a few months back and the latter hope that Divyanka and Vivek too, welcome their Baal Ganesha by next Ganesh Chaturthi.

On Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya’s post, mommy to an eight-month-old baby girl, Ankita Bhargava has commented, “Having him come over is the most beautiful feeling ever. God bless you guys with more and more happiness! Next year Gannu bhaiya ko company dene ke liye koi Baal Ganesha hona chahiye!” To Ankita’s wish, Divyanka replied with a sweet yet witty comment, “It's a beautiful start. I'm happy he chose us as well. In an April 2020 interview with Pinkvilla, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had revealed how her Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star, Karan Patel’s father-in-law and her on-screen father on the same show, Abhay Bhargava had called her post his granddaughter’s birth and was elated that Mehr Patel shares her birth date with her. Divyanka had said, “I have not met her. I really really want to meet her. We share the same birthday date. When she was born mujhe Abhay ji, Ankita Bhargava’s father, ne mujhe personally call kia and said ki “Arey waah ab to meri beti and meri granddaughter dono ab same birthday date ki hain.” He considers me to be his daughter like Ankita. So, it was beautiful.”
On August 11, 2020, to mark the festival of Janmashtami, Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava had given a glimpse of how every festival is now extra special for them. Ankita had posted pictures of her little angel, Mehr Patel dressed as Baal Gopal in a yellow dhoti, kurta and a matching band on her head with a peacock feather on it.
