Splitsvilla 16 Contestant, Anjali Schmuck Accuses Tayne De Villiers Of Touching Her Without Consent

MTV's popular dating reality show, Splitsvilla 16: Pyaar Ya Paisa is currently making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The show premiered on January 9, 2026, and since then it has been grabbing attention for its new concept. However, contestant, Anjali Schmuck recently made some serious allegations against co-contestant, Tayne De Villiers on her social media handle.

Did Tayne De Villiers touch Anjali Schmuck inappropriately?

In one of the latest episodes of the reality show, Splitsvilla 16, Tayne De Villiers called Anjali Schmuck "crazy" and "delusional". Later, he took to his Instagram Stories to share a clip of Anjali from the show and criticised her behaviour. It is worth mentioning that Tayne had once again called Anjali "crazy" in the video. Well, this didn't sit well with Anjali, who later shared a video on her Instagram Stories and accused Tayne of touching her inappropriately on the first day.

In the video, Anjali claimed that Tayne had 'grouped' her on the first day without her consent. She also mentioned that the matter is so serious that she could even file a police complaint against him. Further, Anjali explained that Tayne is only trying to get views and followers by using her name. It is worth mentioning that after the video, Anjali shared a photo of herself on Instagram Stories and captioned it as ‘Guys call women crazy only when they get rejected’. In the video clip, Anjali can be quoted as saying:

"Okay guys, so Tayne has made some video because he doesn’t have work and he needs followers and content, and he’s talking about how I’m crazy. I just want to let you know that Tayne groped me without my consent on day one of the show, and I can literally file a police case right now. So yes, Tayne, you want to call me crazy, but people will know who you really are. Let’s not go there."

For those who do not know, a few moments before Anjali Schmuck accused Tayne De Villiers, she had commented on one of his videos. In the comment, she had revealed that the channel had asked her to make a connection with Tayne in the reality show, Splitsvilla 16. Her comment could be read as:

"Tayne, first of all, I was told to go for you by the channel; otherwise, I never would have. Secondly, you literally groped me without consent on day one, so let’s not talk about who’s crazy."
