Anjali Anand Says Alia Bhatt's Success Stirred Her Insecurities, 'She Has Everything...'

Alia Bhatt is undeniably one of the most successful actresses in the country who is admired in every part of India and abroad. From debuting in Student Of The Year during her early 20s to giving power-packed performances in Raazi, Gully Boy and Gangubai Kathiawadi, she has craved a wonderful career trajectory for herself. She has her own family as a mother and wife with a global fan following, all during her early 30s. Moroever, the actress's achievements in every aspect of life are an ideal example of a 'having it all', which leaves others in awe. Well, the most recent name to join the list is none other than Alia's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani co-star, Anjali Anand. Here's what she said.

Anjali Anand reveals her honest feelings about Alia Bhatt's success

Anjali Anand recently sat down for an interview with Bollywood Bubble. During the conversation, she talked about different aspects of her life, including her shooting memories with Alia Bhatt for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2022. She shared how working and promoting the film with Alia made her realise that despite being of the same age, Alia has found personal and professional success, unlike her who is starting out. Sharing how she used to make the comparison, Anjali said:

"Alia ko dekh ke, I think mujhe ek hi cheez aa rahi thi, that she was pregnant; we just got to know. And she was sitting right beside me/ I think, six months younger than me. We are almost the same age, and I was just thinking that, you know, where I am in life and where she is in life. In this movie, I'm just starting, and she has achieved everything. And now she's pregnant also."

Anjali Anand added she sometimes she used to feel emotional about the fact that Alia Bhatt has figured everything out in her life. With global fame, husband, daughter and professional success, the actress also has more freedom and funds to lead her dream life. However rather than taking it negatively, Anjali expressed her wish to replicate the success in the next decade. Anjali said:

"She has a husband, she has a daughter now, she has everything she could have. She has all the money, she has all the freedom, she can be whoever she wants now, she can do whatever she wants. And I'm just starting. I'm the same age, and I'm just starting. So it's just how different everybody's lives are and how different we are, where we are. And she is amazing at what she does, and I just hope my next 10 years, I'm there where she is right now."

Previously, Anajali Anand sat down for an interview with popular paparazzo, Varinder Chawla and shared that Alia Bhatt, along with her co-star, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar, deserve their success because they have worked hard on it. She mentioned that they work round-the-clock and irrespective of the criticism, she has been inspired by their ability to work hard. Anjali explained:

"I think from Ranveer, Alia and Karan, sir, where they are and why they are, that's because they work really hard. That's what I have picked from them. There's nothing possible without hard work. They work day in and day out without stopping. No matter what your perception is about them doesn't matter, they are at it 24/7. All three of them."

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Vasan Bala's film, Jigra co-starring Vedang Raina. The film failed to impress the audience, and Alia's performance received mixed reviews for her. She is presently shooting for her film, Alpha, co-starring Sharvari. Alia Bhatt also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love And War co-starring her husband, Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.
